The present disclosure relates to a method and a device for application of liquid polymeric material onto the active spinning zone of the cord of the spinning member of the spinning electrode, where the application means moving reversibly along the active spinning zone of the cord in the device for production of nanofibres through electrostatic spinning of liquid material in electrostatic field of high intensity between at least one spinning electrode and against it arranged collecting electrode. The liquid polymeric material is applied onto the cord around its whole circumference without any contact with gaseous environment in the spinning space, where the application means reversibly moves, whereas while the cord is leaving the application means the thickness of the layer of the liquid polymeric material is being reduced and immediately after leaving the application means the process of electrostatic spinning of the liquid polymeric material applied on the cord is started.

Method and device for application of liquid polymeric material onto spinning cords

A device for production of nanofibers through electrostatic spinning of the liquid matrix in electrostatic field between at least one spinning electrode and a collecting electrode positioned opposite thereto, while the spinning electrode contains at least one spinning member containing the cord, which comprises a straight section which is parallel with a plane of depositing the nanofibers and/or with the collecting electrode and it forms an active spinning zone of the cord. The cord of the spinning member is stationary or is displaceable in a direction of its length or is movable in a direction of its length either discontinuously or continuously and to the cord there is assigned a device for application of the liquid matrix on the cord in a direction of length of the cord.

Device for production of nanofibres through electrostatic spinning of liquid matrix

The rotary spinning electrode of elongated shape, serving to carry polymer solution from reservoir of polymer solution or melt into electric field for spinning in devices for production of nanofibers through electrostatic spinning of polymer solutions or melts, including a pair of end faces (), which are arranged on the carrying mean (), and between which are mounted the spinning members (), which are formed of a cord or wire (). The spinning members () are in a skew position to an axis () of rotation of the rotary spinning electrode.

Method for production of deposit or layer of nanoparticles or a layer of nanofibers from solutions or melts of polymers in electrostatic field of a high intensity, during which the produced nanoparticles or the produced nanofibers deposit on a substrate material passing through the active chamber, in which is positioned the active electrode. The electrostatic field for production, transfer and depositing of nanoparticles or production, transfer and depositing of nanofibers is induced between the active electrode and the substrate material, on which in the direction of its movement in front of and/or opposite to the active electrode there is applied an electric charge of opposite polarity than that of the active electrode, while an electric charge applied on the substrate material is being partially or totally consumed through depositing of nanoparticles or nanofibers on the moving substrate material.

Method and device for production of a layer of nanoparticles or a layer of nanofibres from solutions or melts of polymers

Method for spinning the liquid matrix () in electrostatic field between at least one spinning electrode () and against it arranged collecting electrode (), while one of the electrodes is connected to one pole of high voltage source and the second electrode is connected to opposite pole of high voltage source or is grounded, at which the liquid matrix () being subject to spinning is to be found in electrostatic field on the active spinning zone () of the cord () of the spinning means () of the spinning electrode (). The active spinning zone () of the cord during spinning process has a stable position towards the collecting electrode () and the liquid matrix () to the active spinning zone () of the cord is delivered either by application to the active spinning zone () of the cord or by motion of the cord () in direction of its length. The invention further relates to the device for production of nanofibres and to the spinning electrode (), whose active spinning zone () of the cord in the carrying body () of the spinning electrode () has a stable position and to the cord () there is assigned the device () for application of the liquid matrix () to the cord (), which is arranged in the carrying body () of the spinning electrode ().

Method for spinning a liquid matrix for production of nanofibres through electrostatic spinning of liquid matrix

The invention relates to the rotary spinning electrode of an elongated shape into the device for production of nanofibres through electrostatic spinning of polymer solutions comprising a pair of end faces, between them there are positioned spinning members formed by wire, which are distributed equally along the circumference and parallel with axis of rotation of the rotary spinning electrode, while the end faces are made of electrically non-conducting material and all the spinning members are mutually connected in a electrically conductive manner.
