A protection method, protects at least one hollow internal area of a turbine engine part made of a superalloy from oxidation and/or corrosion, wherein the at least one hollow inner area has been formed by means of at least one core made of a ceramic material limited by an external surface that surrounds it. Before bringing the superalloy around the core made of a ceramic material, the external surface is coated with a material that includes a nanometric layer of hafnium (Hf), and/or a micrometric layer of platinum (Pt), or mixture at least of hafnium and platinum.

A mold for producing a ceramic core by injecting a ceramic composition, the mold having a body in which a casting core cavity is formed, the cavity having a primary cavity and a secondary cavity connected by a plurality of segments, the mold being characterized in that it includes a primary arm configured in such a way as to allow an injection of ceramic composition into the primary cavity, and a secondary arm configured in such a way as to allow an injection of ceramic composition into the secondary cavity, and in that the ratio of the volume of the primary cavity to the volume of the secondary cavity is equal, plus or minus 15%, to the ratio of the volume of the primary arm to the volume of the secondary arm.

A process for coating a refractory alloy part is provided and includes coating an area of a refractory alloy part by means of a treatment composition including a type of preceramic polymer and a solvent, and heat treating the part coated with the treatment composition. The heat treating partially converts the preceramic polymer and forms a ceramic coating obtained by conversion, the ceramic coating protecting the refractory alloy from oxidation. The treatment composition also includes active fillers to form an alloy coating on a surface of the part by solid diffusion in addition to the ceramic coating obtained by conversion, and the alloy coating generates a protective oxide layer when subjected to oxidizing conditions.

A method for forming a wax model for the manufacture of turbine blades by lost-wax casting, in which a core is provided, a lower surface shell and an upper surface shell are positioned and bonded on either side of ducts of the core adjacent to the root, the core equipped with the lower surface shell and with the upper surface shell is positioned in an injection mold, wax is injected around the core equipped with the lower surface shell and with the upper surface shell, so as to form a wax model including a blade airfoil and a blade root including a fir tree, the lower surface shell and the upper surface shell being positioned around the core so as to form a portion of the fir tree of the wax model.

A process for coating a part by chemical vapor diffusion is provided and includes placing a powder mixture in a chamber, immersing the part partially in the powder mixture, and applying a heat treatment to the part. The powder mixture includes a first component and a second component forming a gaseous compound during the heat treatment so as to allow deposition of the second component on the part. The part includes a metal refractory allow and the second component forms a solid diffusion alloy by solid diffusion with a metal species of the refractory metal alloy to generate a coating. The solid diffusion allow generates a passivating oxide layer when subjected to oxidizing conditions.

Coating for refractory alloy part

A core for casting a blade of a turbomachine, the core including a first part for defining a first cavity and a second part of which at least one portion defines a second cavity located between the first cavity and the tip of the blade. The portion of the second part includes a through-hole that ends opposite the first part so as to define, in the cast blade, an outer face of a duct for removing dust from the first cavity. An alumina pin which is secured to the end face of the first part extends into the through-hole to define the inner face of the duct. A centering sheath placed between the pin and the through-hole centers the pin in relation to the through-hole. The centering sheath is made of a material that is intended to dissolve before the blade is cast around the core.

Core for casting a blade of a turbomachine

A ceramic core used for fabricating a hollow turbine blade for a turbine engine using the lost wax casting technique, the blade including calibrated dust-removal holes emanating from a top of at least one cavity and opening out into a bathtub of the blade, wherein each of the calibrated dust-removal holes is formed in a core portion of height that is determined to be sufficient to guarantee mechanical strength, the core portion including a through orifice of axis perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the calibrated dust-removal hole and defining on either side of the through orifice firstly a core cylinder having a determined diameter corresponding to the dust-removal hole that is to be formed, and secondly a remaining core volume that is to be plugged after casting, such that the calibrated dust-removal hole is obtained without drilling and without using connection rods.
