A process for preparing oligo ethylene glycol methyl ether borate involves feeding boric acid and oligo ethylene glycol monomethyl ether into a reactor, and reacting to obtain a raw product containing oligo ethylene glycol methyl ether borate, water, and unreacted boric acid and oligo ethylene glycol monomethyl ether. The raw product is fed to a reactive distillation device and boric acid is reacted with oligo ethylene glycmonomethyl ether for full conversion of boric acid. A distillate stream containing water is transferred from the top of the reactive distillation device to a condenser, and a condensed liquid stream is recycled to the top of the reactive distillation device. A bottom product stream containing oligo ethylene glycol methyl ether borate is withdrawn from the reactive distillation device. The bottom product stream is partially recycled to a reboiler. The resulting vapor stream is recycled to the bottom of the reactive distillation device.

Process for preparing oligo ethylene glycol methyl ether borate

Provided is a method for energy recuperation in the expansion of processed natural gas before the delivery of the latter to an acetylene production plant (H). The method includes delivery of heated processed natural gas to an expansion device and expansion of the processed natural gas in the expansion device to a pressure of 2 bar to 8 bar. The expansion device is a piston expansion machine which is operated by the expansion of the processed natural gas and which generates energy. Also provided is a plant for energy recuperation in the expansion of processed natural gas.

Method and system for generating energy during the expansion of natural process gas

A process for preparing acetylene and synthesis gas by partial oxidation of hydrocarbons with oxygen, is disclosed. The process consists of separately preheating and then mixing a first input stream containing a hydrocarbon and a second input stream containing oxygen, supplying the first input stream and the second input stream via a burner block to a firing space, quenching a cracking gas obtained to produce a process water stream and a product gas stream, cooling the product gas stream in a cooling column by direct heat exchange with cooling water, depleting soot in an electrostatic filter, combining all process water streams and passing through soot channels, subjecting the combined process water stream to a cleaning operation by partial vaporization in a one-stage flash vessel to obtain a cleaned process water stream, and recycling the cleaned process water stream into the process.

Process for preparing acetylene and synthesis gas

The invention proposes a method for producing acetylene and synthesis gas by partial oxidation of hydrocarbons with oxygen, wherein a first feedstock (), containing one or more hydrocarbons, and a second feedstock (), containing oxygen, &#x2014;are preheated separately from one another, &#x2014;are fed via a burner block (B) to a combustion chamber (F), in which the partial oxidation of the hydrocarbons takes place, &#x2014;obtaining a cracked gas, which is quenched by injecting a quench oil downstream of the furnace body at 200&#xb0; C. to 250&#xb0; C., wherein &#x2014;a flow of product gas Ig is obtained, which &#x2014;is cooled in a burner column (BK) with further quench oil, obtaining &#x2014;a flow of product gas IIg cooled to 60&#xb0; C. to 90&#xb0; C., which &#x2014;is guided into a final cooler (SK), in which a flow of product gas IIIg, cooled to 20&#xb0; C. to 50&#xb0; C., is obtained by direct thermal exchange with water, as well as a flow of process water I liq &#x2014;which is characterized in that the flow of process water I liq is subjected to purification by partial evaporation in a single-stage expansion chamber, wherein the flow of process water I liq is vaporized to a proportion of 0.01 percent by weight to 10 percent by weight, relative to the total weight of same, obtaining a purified flow of process water II liq which is removed in the waste water.
