Method for packing groups of products or products of prismatic shape with rectangular or square base, which from a feed or grouping unit are then moved towards a first folding spindle so as to be delivered therefrom wrapped in the shape of a 'U' rotated through 90&#xb0; and open at the back, by a packing sheet which is previously placed in front of the spindle with vertical positioning, characterized in that the product with the packing sheet delivered from the spindle are picked up directly and fed in phase between the parallel and horizontal motorized conveyors of a tilting drum positioned inside which longitudinally, edgewise and parallel with each other, are folding devices which guide the product with the packing laterally and fold on the lateral faces of the product the first flaps with vertical folding, projecting laterally and anterior in the feed direction of the packing.

Method and machine for packing groups of products arranged in one or more layers

A machine for applying partly adhesive straps to relative products has a folding device located between an input station, where the products are fed onto the machine, and an output station, where the products are fed off the machine; a feed device for feeding the straps successively to the input of the folding device; and a conveying device for feeding the products continuously along a substantially straight path extending between the input station and the output station, so that each strap is folded into a U about the relative product at the folding device.

Machine for applying partly adhesive straps to relative products

Equipment for superimposing layers of products to be packaged (P), comprising: a feed surface () associated to a first product-feed device (); and a pair of preparation surfaces () set on top of one another and designed to receive each a respective layer of products to be packaged (P), the preparation surfaces () being associated each to a respective feed device (), the said feed devices () being designed to cause synchronized advance of corresponding layers of products (P) along the preparation surfaces (). Both of the preparation surfaces () are mobile so as to bring alternately the respective product-intake end () into a position corresponding to the product-output end () of the feed surface ().
