A steering system for vehicles with independent axles is disclosed. The system may have a second circuit for control of a second cylinder. The second circuit may have a solenoid valve, with at least four ways and three positions. The solenoid valve may be interposed between a second hydraulic liquid inlet line, a second hydraulic liquid outlet line, and a third operating duct and a fourth operating duct for the passage of hydraulic liquid. The system moreover envisages an electronic unit for management and control of the directional-control solenoid valve, which is operatively connected to a device for detecting the steering angle imposed by the first cylinder and is designed to manage the directional-control solenoid valve as a function of the data detected by the device.
