A charging station for an electrically powered vehicle has a connection for an electrical energy source, an inverter and an electronic coil connected to the inverter for wireless energy-transferring coupling of the electrically powered vehicle. The inverter is configured to apply an alternating electric voltage to the electronic coil in resonant operation. The electronic coil is connected to the inverter by way of a compensating circuit with a settable passive electronic energy storage device. The compensating circuit is configured to set a frequency of the alternating voltage by means of the settable passive electronic energy storage device.

Charging station for an electrically powered vehicle, and charging method

A circuit arrangement for detecting a zero crossing of an alternating current is provided. The circuit arrangement includes a load through which the alternating current can flow, and an evaluation unit connected to the load and configured to evaluate an electrical voltage formed at the load, and to determining zero currents. The load comprises a capacitor through which the alternating current or a current to be measured derived therefrom can flow, and the evaluation unit is configured to account for a phase shift caused by the capacitor for determining the zero currents.

Determining a zero current of an alternating current

An electrically powered vehicle has a drive apparatus which includes an electric machine and an electrical energy storage device connected to the electric machine. A charging device is connected to the electrical energy storage device for the wireless transfer of energy by way of an alternating magnetic field. For that purpose, the charging device has an electronic coil which interacts with the alternating magnetic field. The electronic coil is connected to an adjustable compensating circuit.

Damage to an inverter due to an excessively high start-up current, when using space vector control without a voltage sensor in conjunction with small connection inductances, can be prevented with a method for controlling the inverter, and with a corresponding controller, wherein the controller is configured to transmit in a start-up phase of an inverter circuit a control signal to a control input of the inverter circuit, wherein the control signal simultaneously switches three first semiconductor switches, which are connected to a first DC voltage terminal of the inverter circuit, temporarily into a conducting state.

Method for limiting startup currents in an inverter circuit

A modular high-frequency converter includes submodules, each having an input-side half bridge and a DC link circuit with a DC link capacitance connected in parallel to the half bridge. A DC link circuit voltage drop across the DC link capacitance of each submodule is controlled to a target voltage by adjusting a duty cycle with a closed-loop control structure having a pilot control and a downstream closed-loop error control. Within the framework of the pilot control, a target value for each duty cycle and a target value for the supply current are determined, using a mathematical model of the converter, based on the load-side output currents flowing out of the DC link voltage circuits and on target values of the DC link circuit voltages. Switch position parameters, which map the effect of the switch positions of the input-side half bridges, are each replaced by an associated duty cycle.
