The invention relates to a bleach catalyst granules containing a metal-containing bleach catalyst, which comprises at least one ligand selected from the group comprising di- or trimethyltriazcyclononanes or derivatives therefrom, and a homo- or copolymer polycarboxylate, salts thereof or partially neutralized having a pH-value of between 3 and 9. Said granules are produced in an anhydrous granulation process, in particular by compacting, the treatment temperature being maintained at below 100&#xb0; C.

Bleach catalyst granules, use thereof and washing cleaning agents containing the same

The invention relates to a bleaching-agent co-granule containing a bleach activator, a metal-containing bleach catalyst comprising at least one ligand from the group consisting of di- or trimethyltriazacyclononane and derivatives of these, and a homo- or copolymeric polycarboxylate or its salts or partial neutralizates having a pH in the range from 3 to 9. The bleaching-agent co-granule is obtained in an anhydrous granulating process, preferably by compaction at a temperature below 100&#xb0; C. The invention also relates to the method of using the bleaching-agent co-granule in dishwasher detergents and to a detergent comprising said bleaching-agent co-granule.

Bleaching-agent co-granules, method for producing said bleaching-agent co-granules, and use of said bleaching-agent co-granules

The invention relates to the use of manganese or iron complexes which, as well as a tetraoxolene unit, contain two macrocyclic, N-containing ligands, especially cyclen or cyclam ligands, in washing and cleaning compositions in the form of granules or powder or solution or suspension for bleaching of colored stains both on textiles and on hard surfaces. The invention also relates to washing and cleaning compositions which comprise such complexes as bleach activators and to the use thereof for textile washing or for dishwashing detergents and other uses in personal care and other areas.

Use of transition metal complexes as bleach catalysts in washing and cleaning compositions

The invention relates to a method for producing homogeneous solutions of metal complexes of general formula (2): [MLX]Y, where M is a metal from the group comprising Mn(II), Mn(III), Mn(IV), Fe(III), Fe(III) or Fe(IV), X is a coordinated compound selected from mono- bi- or tri-charged anions or neutral molecules which are able to coordinate with a metal mono- bi- or tri-dentate, Y is a non-coordinated counter-ion which ensures charge equalization of the complex, L is a ligand of general formula (1) or the protonized or de-protonized form thereof, and a, x, n, m, R, R, R, Rand z are as specified in claim, in diols or polyols, the monoethers or mixtures of said substances. The invention relates to a method for producing metal complexes of formula (2) [MLX]Y(2), where M is a metal from the group consisting of Mn(II), Mn(III), Mn(IV), Fe(II), Fe(III) or Fe(IV), X is a coordinating compound selected from mono-, bi- or tri-charged anions or neutral molecules which can coordinate to a metal in mono-, bi- or tri-dentate form, Y represents a non-coordinating counter-ion which ensures charge equalization of the complex, L represents a ligand of formula (1) or the protonized or de-protonized form thereof, and a, x, n, m, R, R, R, Rand z have the meanings described in claim. Said method is characterized in that the reaction of one or more ligands of formula (1) with an iron salt or manganese salt is carried out in an acetone/water mixture in a temperature range from 0 to 50&#xb0; C. and for this purpose a solution or a suspension of the one or more ligands of formula (1) in acetone is brought in contact with an aqueous metal salt solution of the iron salt or manganese salt in the temperature range in which the reaction takes place.
