The present invention is directed to a self consistent system for generation and adaptive implementation of overflying multi sensor measurements and derivation of actionable aggregants pertinent to determination of status and proactive management models of distributed resource. The system includes at least one set of calibrated overflying multisensor detectors arranged for detecting signals from electromagnetic radiation redirected by a plurality of underlying structures having a combination of features having variable scale lengths.

Methods and apparatus for adaptive multisensor analisis and aggregation

A rotational mechanical transformer has been arranged for transfer and transformation of velocity, force, angular momentum, torque, energy/work, energy density, and pressure, associated with at least one rotating device. The transformer includes an actuator having at least one cylinder arranged to contain the at least one working fluid, an externally supported shaft and a drive shaft having parallel axes orthogonally displaced by a predetermined displacement, and each respectively connected to at least one connecting arm and at least one additional connecting arm. The at least one cylinder includes at least one actuator rod and at least one blind end each respectively connected with at least one revolving eccenter axle and the at least one drive shaft, and have been arranged to allow for angular displacements of the at least one actuator with respect to the parallel axis.

Rotational mechanical transformer apparatus and methods

The present invention is directed to a self consistent method for adaptive implementation of overflying multi sensor measurements and derivation of conclusions and determinations 'agregants', derived and/or developed from the measured results and/or resulting from science-based processing design to integrate and process the measured results and other data and scientific knowledge. Furthermore, the aggregants may be pertinent to determination of status and proactive management models of the at least one distributed resource by a single or repeatable implementation of one or several steps.

The systems and methods described herein relate to solid-state light sources capable of generating radiation beams for, but not limited to, the treatment of surfaces, bulk materials, films, and coatings. The solid-state ultraviolet source optically combines the light output of at least two and preferably as many four independently controllable discrete solid-state light emitters to produce a light beam that has a controllable multi-wavelength spectrum over a wide range of wavelengths (i.e. deep UV to near-IR). Specific features of this light source permit changes in the spectral, spatial and temporal distribution of light for use in curing, surface modification and other applications.

Apparatus and a method for treating a fluid. The apparatus includes a fluid passageway, at least one source of irradiation, and curved reflecting troughs for reflecting irradiation onto the fluid passageway. A space is defined between the closed ends of the troughs. A first set of reflectors joins end edges of the trough open ends, and a second set of reflectors joins the top and bottom edges of the troughs and the first set of reflectors. The reflectors and troughs define a chamber. The fluid passageway and the at least one source of irradiation are positioned in the chamber, with each source of irradiation within a respective trough. At least one of the fluid passageway and the at least one source of irradiation is spaced from any focal axes so as to provide a substantially uniform irradiation distribution within the fluid in the fluid passageway.

The invention is a method of irradiating at least one surface of a three-dimensional object () with a desired ultraviolet light irradiance flux produced by an ultraviolet light source (). The invention determines a position at which the three-dimensional object will be positioned relative to the ultraviolet light source when the at least one surface () is to be irradiated with the desired ultraviolet light flux; determines an unmodified ultraviolet light flux which would irradiate the at least one surface when the ultraviolet light source is activated while the three-dimensional object is at the position relative to the ultraviolet light source; produces an optical element (), based upon the unmodified ultraviolet light flux and the desired ultraviolet light fluxes, which provides a modified wavefront of the ultraviolet light flux to irradiate the at least one surface with the desired ultraviolet light flux; positions the optical element in the path which the wavefront of the ultraviolet light from the ultraviolet light source would follow in irradiating the at least one surface; and activates the ultraviolet light source to image transmit the ultraviolet light flux from the ultraviolet light source on to the optical element to cause irradiation of the at least one surface with the desired light flux.

Method and apparatus for improved ultraviolet (UV) treatment of large three-dimensional (3D) objects

Apparatus for providing substantially two-dimensionally uniform irradiation of a relatively large planar target surface. Each of at least two substantially identical sources of radiation irradiate the target surface. The longitudinal axes of the sources of radiation are substantially parallel with each other, defining a plane substantially parallel to the target surface. Each of the sources of radiation is within a respective elongated elliptical reflecting trough and is spaced from the focal axis of the respective trough. Each trough terminates in an opening defining a rectangular plane substantially perpendicular to the major axis of the trough and substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bulb.

Apparatus and method providing substantially two-dimensionally uniform irradiation

Apparatus for providing substantially two-dimensionally uniform irradiation of elongated three-dimensional objects while the objects are rotating and moving across the irradiator, with a high level of irradiance and with a substantially constant radiation dose on surfaces of the objects during each phase of the rotation and movement. At least one source of radiation produces radiation to irradiate the surfaces of the objects. Each of the sources of radiation is within a respective elongated elliptical reflecting trough and is spaced from the focal axis of the respective trough. Reflectors extend from the trough substantially to the path of the objects.

Apparatus and method providing substantially two-dimensionally uniform irradiation of a planar target surface. An irradiation source is within an elliptical reflecting trough, on the major axis of the trough, and spaced from the focal axes of the trough. Edges of the trough define a first plane substantially perpendicular to the major axis of the trough. Reflectors extend substantially equal distances from the longitudinal edges and the ends of the trough to define a target surface plane substantially parallel with the first plane. A translucent reflector is a positioned on the major axis of the trough, outside the trough. The translucent reflector has a first planar portion lying in a plane substantially parallel with the target surface plane, and second and third planar portions extending from the edges of the first planar portion and angled toward the target surface plane.
