Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for prediction of device failure. The method includes receiving from a network exposure node a request for subscribing to a monitoring report related to a device failure predicted for a terminal device; obtaining, in response to the request, traffic data and current power consumption data of the terminal device; detecting, based on the traffic data, a traffic anomaly of the terminal device; predicting, in response to the detection of the traffic anomaly of the terminal device, a device failure based on the current power consumption data; and transmitting the monitoring report indicating the predicted device failure to the network exposure node. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the monitoring event can be extended to predict the device failure of the terminal device.

Method and apparatus for prediction of device failure

Methods and apparatuses for capability exposure are disclosed for a wireless communication system. According to an embodiment, a network exposure node receives from a server a request for subscribing to a monitoring report that can be enabled by an operator node based at least on a capability of at least one non-3GPP operator asset. The network exposure node obtains the monitoring report from the operator node and sends the monitoring report to the server. The monitoring report may be related to battery lifetime predicted for a user equipment.

Methods and apparatuses for capability exposure

The present disclosure provides a method and a device for non-IP data delivery in a communication system. The method for operating data by a network exposure node includes: receiving a request for operating the data; operating the data according to the request. The data includes a plurality of pieces of non-internet protocol data delivery (NIDD) data, which are buffered in a network and not delivered. The plurality of pieces of data already sent to the network exposure node may still be operated, for example cancelled or replaced, thus undesired actions of the UE may be better avoided.

Method and device for non-IP data delivery in communication system

The present disclosure provides a method performed in a server for communication in Internet of Things, including: receiving, from an application, an object definition schema including an attribute that indicates storing a latest operation message for an operation-related resource item in a client; checking if a queue exists for the operation-related resource item, upon receiving a request for an operation on the operation-related resource item from the application; and if the queue exists, storing the latest operation message in the queue in place of a previous operation message when the client is offline. The present disclosure also provides an apparatus performed in a server for communication in Internet of Things.
