The display comprises a display panel comprising a first active area, which has a first transmittance, at least partially overlaps on the camera device, and comprises a viewing angle area corresponding to the viewing angle of the camera device, and a second active area having a second transmittance that is lower than the first transmittance, the display panel comprises a mask layer comprising an opaque mask, and the opaque mask comprises a first portion at least partially formed in the viewing angle area, and a second portion formed to have a specified width and encompass the outer boundary of the viewing angle area.

The electronic device includes a display, an optical sensor disposed below the display, and at least one processor, wherein the display includes a first region having a first pixel density and a second region having a second pixel density less than the first pixel density and corresponding to the disposed region of the optical sensor, the at least one processor determines a second brightness level for the second region on the basis of at least one among a first brightness level of the first region, the first pixel density, and the second pixel density when the first brightness level exceeds a predetermined threshold, identifies a third region, defined to include the second region, of the display along an edge of the first region, and sets the brightness of the second and third regions to the second brightness level.

An example electronic device includes a camera module, wherein the electronic device may include a display panel and the camera module is disposed under the display panel. The display panel may include a first region having a first pixel density and overlapping the camera module, and a second region having a second pixel density greater than the first pixel density. The first region may include a transmissive region through which light is transmitted and which includes first pixels, and a non-transmissive region which is disposed around the transmissive region and in which a first driving circuit configured to drive the first pixels is arranged. Connection wires connecting the first pixels and the first driving circuit to each other may be arranged in the transmissive region, the connection wires may include at least one curved region.

Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to an electronic device including an under display camera (UDC). The electronic device includes: a housing, a display, and a camera disposed inside the housing overlapping a portion of the display and acquiring light passing through the display from outside. The display includes a first area in which a first pixel overlapping with at least a portion of the camera and a first pixel driving circuit for driving the first pixel are disposed, and a second area, other than the first area, in which a second pixel and a second pixel driving circuit for driving the second pixel are disposed. The first pixel driving circuit includes a first driving thin film transistor (TFT) having a first channel region having a straight shape does not include a curved shape, and the second pixel driving circuit includes a second driving TFT having a second channel region of a curved shape. A first channel width of the first driving TFT is greater than a second channel width of the second driving TFT, and a first channel length of the first driving TFT is less than a second channel length of the second driving TFT.

The electronic device includes a transparent plate, a display disposed under the transparent plate and including an opening, an optical sensor aligned under the opening, a transparent body that is extended from a first surface facing the transparent plate to a second surface disposed on an opposite side of the first surface and facing the optical sensor, and is at least partially disposed in the opening, and a light shielding film disposed on a side surface of the transparent body between the first surface and the second surface. The present disclosure relates to an electronic device for acquiring biometric information and an operating method thereof. An electronic device may include: a display including one or more pixels, each pixel including one or more subpixels, and the display configured to include a first area and a second area; a display driver IC configured to control driving of the display; a biometric sensor configured to at least partially overlap the second area, and configured to acquire biometric information; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: identify a request for acquisition of the biometric information; based at least in part on the request, identify state information related to the acquisition of the biometric information; and if the state information satisfies a specified condition, perform a first acquisition of the biometric information using light emitted through the second area, wherein the light emitted through the second area has a specified level of brightness, and wherein in performing the first acquisition of the biometric information, the processor may be further configured to adjust an intensity of light emitted through the first area to be lower than the specified level of brightness.
