A display device includes a base layer including an active area and a peripheral area outside the active area, a circuit element layer including a pixel in the active area of the base layer, a light emitting element layer including light emitting elements on the circuit element layer, a thin film encapsulation layer covering the light emitting element layer and including an organic layer, and an input detection layer on the thin film encapsulation layer and including a detection electrode and a detection wire connected to the detection electrode. The circuit element layer includes a connection wire overlapping the detection wire in the peripheral area, and a contact part to connect the detection wire and the connection wire in the peripheral area. The contact part is spaced apart from the organic layer of the thin film encapsulation layer on a plane.

Display device

A display device includes a substrate having a display area, a peripheral area at least partially surrounding the display area, and a pad area within the peripheral area. A plurality of data lines is disposed within the display area. A plurality of connection wirings is disposed within the display area, connected to the plurality of data lines, and configured to transmit a data signal from the pad area to the plurality of data lines. Each of the plurality of connection wirings includes a plurality of branches that protrude from the connection wirings in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the connection wirings are primarily extended.

Display device including connective wirings within a display area thereof

A unit pixel includes a circuit structure, first and second wiring patterns, an interlayer insulating layer, a planarization layer, and a light emission structure. The first wiring pattern disposed on the circuit structure has a first bump structure. The interlayer insulating layer covers the circuit structure and the first wiring pattern. The second wiring pattern disposed on the interlayer insulating layer overlaps the first wiring pattern and has a second bump structure. The planarization layer covers the interlayer insulating layer and the second wiring pattern and includes a via-hole exposing at least a portion of the second wiring pattern. The light emission structure contacts the second wiring pattern through the via-hole. The first and second wiring patterns and the interlayer insulating layer form a capacitor, the light emission structure includes an OLED, and the capacitor is directly connected to an anode of the OLED.

Unit pixel and organic light emitting display device including the same

A display apparatus includes: a substrate including a display area in which a plurality of pixel areas is arranged, and a peripheral area adjacent to the display area and in which a pad portion including a plurality of pad electrodes is arranged; a first signal line and a second signal line in the display area on the substrate; a first connecting line electrically connected to the first signal line and connected to the pad portion, at least a portion of the first connecting line being in the display area; and a dummy line on a same layer as the first connecting line.

Display apparatus

A display device includes a display panel and at least one electronic component connected to the display panel. The display panel includes a display area and a non-display area disposed around the display area on a plane. The non-display area has a first bending line and a second bending line intersecting the first bending line. The display panel includes a circuit layer and a display element layer including display elements. The circuit layer is disposed in the display area, disposed on a different layer than pixel circuits, and electrically connects the at least electronic component and the driving circuit.

A method of manufacturing a display device including forming a display unit in a central area of a flexible substrate; forming a pattern portion comprising a metallic material in a peripheral area of the flexible substrate; forming an insulating layer covering the pattern portion; forming an encapsulation layer including at least one inorganic layer and at least one organic layer over the display unit; and irradiating a laser beam at a portion of the insulating layer corresponding to the pattern portion to form a recess in the insulating layer and melt at least a part of the pattern portion.

Flexible display device with metallic material portion including recess and method of manufacturing the same

A display module including a display panel, a supporting member, a first circuit board, and a light blocking member. The display panel includes a display area and a non-display area. The non-display area is bent. The supporting member includes a first surface overlapping the display area; a second surface opposite to the first surface; and a third surface configured to connect the first surface to the second surface. The first circuit board faces the second surface and is electrically connected to the non-display area. The light blocking member contacts a bent area of the non-display area.

Display module and a display device including the same

A display device and method of manufacturing the device that facilitates exposing a pad includes a flexible substrate including a central area and a peripheral area surrounding the central area, a display unit in the central area, an encapsulation layer covering the display unit and including at least one inorganic layer and at least one organic layer, an insulating layer disposed in the peripheral area defining a recess having a bottom and side portions, and a reinforcing portion disposed inside the recess, including a metallic material, and covering at least a part of the bottom and side portions of the recess.

A display apparatus includes: a first area; a first bent area outside the first area, the first bent area being bent about a first bending axis; and a second bent area outside the first area, the second bent area being adjacent to an edge of the first area extending in a direction crossing the first bending axis, and being bent about a second bending axis that is parallel with an imaginary line extending in a direction crossing the first bending axis. A slit is defined in the protective member, and the slit overlap at least a part of the first bending line and the second bending line.
