A printer includes a printing portion, two plate-shaped first support portions, a moving portion, a restricting portion, and two second support portions. The first support portions are disposed opposite one another and support opposite ends of the roll. The moving portion supports the first support portions movably. The restricting portion restricts movement of the first support portions. The second support portions support the ends of the roll. Each second support portion includes a pivoting portion, a projecting portion, and an energizing portion. The pivoting portion is supported pivotally. The projecting portion projects from the pivoting portion in a direction that intersects an axis parallel to the plane of an associated first support portion. The energizing portion energizes the pivoting portion in a direction in which the pivoting portion pivots such that the projecting portion projects from the side of the first support portion that faces the opposing first support portion.

Printer

A printer including a roll supporting part, a feed roller, a printing head, and an urging device. The roll supporting part rotatably supports a print-receiving tape roll including a print-receiving tape in a rolled shape. The feed roller pulls out and feeds the print-receiving tape and the printing head prints on the print-receiving tape. The urging device slides to and contacts an outer peripheral surface of the print-receiving tape in the rolled shape and elastically presses the print-receiving tape roll supported by the roll supporting part while the print-receiving tape is fed.

A substrate mounting structure includes a substrate, a substrate support portion, a protruding portion, and a screw. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface that is a surface on an opposite side to the first surface. The substrate support portion includes a screw hole and is a section of an outer peripheral portion of the screw hole. The section comes into contact with the first surface of the substrate. The protruding portion is provided on at least a part of a section of the outer peripheral portion apart from the substrate support portion, and protrudes further in a direction from the first surface toward the second surface than the substrate support portion. The screw is screwed into the screw hole and clamps the substrate together with the substrate support portion.

A printer includes a first case and a second case, a paper containing portion is formed in the first case and contains a paper roll, a paper holder is provided in the paper containing portion and hold the paper roll, a pair of supporting members are provided in the paper holder and hold both ends of the paper roll, with each of the supporting members holding one of the ends, a contacting portion is provided in the paper holder and is thicker than are the supporting members, and a first projection projects in the paper containing portion from the first case toward the paper holder and is positioned, in the axial direction of the paper roll, between the contacting portion and a wall surface of the first case located on the side of the contact portion and is able to come into contact with the contacting portion.

A work apparatus includes a drive motor, a tool head including a tool frame, a bearing, a tool shaft and a rotary tool, a frame tube with the proximal end connected to the drive motor and the distal end connected to the tool head, and a drive shaft rotatably inserted through the frame tube for transmitting the rotation of the drive motor to the rotary tool. The rotary tool is accommodated within the tool frame and is rotatable on the tool shaft, when driven by the drive shaft. The tool shaft is journaled by the bearing which is elastically supported by a flexible elastic member disposed coaxially around the bearing and interposed between the bearing and the connection of the tool frame or the frame tube. Undesirable vibrations caused by the rotation of the rotary tool will be effectively hindered from being transmitted to the frame tube.

Work apparatus

A printer includes a printing portion, a cover including a first roller, a peeling mechanism including a second roller, and a first guide portion including a moving portion and a first restricting portion. The peeling mechanism is switched among three states. In a first state, the second roller is separated from the first roller. In a third state, the second roller is in contact with the first roller. In a second state, the distance between the first roller and the second roller is less than the distance between the first roller and the second roller in the first state. The moving portion switches the peeling mechanism from the first state to the second state as the cover changes from an open state to a closed state. The first restricting portion restricts the switching of the peeling mechanism from the third state to the second state.

A tape cassette includes a tape ejecting port for ejecting outside the tape with a separator being adhered to one of surfaces thereof, a tape conveying roller arranged at an upstream side of a tape conveying direction at the tape ejecting port, the tape conveying roller conveying roller pulling out and conveying the tape while getting in contact with the separator being adhered to one surface of the tape, a separator guiding portion for guiding the separator peeled off from the tape inwardly at the tape ejecting port along a peripheral surface of the tape conveying roller and a separator-take-up spool arranged so as to fix thereto a front end of the separator that has been guided inwardly along the peripheral surface of the tape conveying roller from the separator guiding portion and to take up the separator.

Vacuum die-casting machine

A sheet in accordance with the present invention includes sheets as print mediums for a printer and a package member surrounding the sheets which have been stacked up. The sheet package is configured so that the sheets can be set in the printer together with the package member exposing part of the sheets. The package member is integrally provided with a flap part which can expose part of the sheets by being opened when the sheet package is set in the printer and cover the exposed part of the sheets by being closed when the sheet package is not used.

A sheet package to be set in a sheet storage unit of a printer includes a stack of sheets and a package member covering the stack of sheets. The sheets are supplied from the sheet package to the printer along a sheet feed direction. The package member has a side part being in parallel with the sheet feed direction and having an edge at its front in the sheet feed direction. The side part is structured so that a projecting part of the sheet storage unit secures the position of the package member by contacting the front edge of the side part and the side edge of the stack of sheets when the package member is placed in the sheet storage unit relative to the sheet feed direction.

The package memberis provided with an identification markwhile the printer is equipped with a reflective sensor so that the identification markwill be placed in a reading area of the reflective sensor only when the sheet packageis loaded in the printer in a correct direction.

It is intended to provide a tape printer which enables to forcibly separate a platen roller and a print head along with an opening movement of a cover element in case the platen roller and the print head have adhered to each other because of a long-period storage of the tape printer with the platen roller and the print head being in contact. Accordingly, a cam pressing member and a cam receiver move a roller holder to a withdrawing position in which the platen roller and a thermal head are separated from each other when the cover element is opened, so that the cam pressing member and the cam receiver can be forcibly returned to the withdrawing position from a position in which the platen roller is in contact with the thermal head.

It is intended to provide a tape printer which enables to forcibly separate a platen roller and a print head along with an opening operation of a cover element in case the platen roller and the print head have adhered to each other because of a long-period storage of the tape printer with the platen roller and the print head being in contact. Accordingly, a first gear formed in the platen roller and a rack member in which gear teeth engageable with the first gear are provided, so that a contact between the platen roller and a thermal head can be forcibly released by an engagement with a first gear and the gear teeth when the cover element is opened, and a roller holder is returned to a withdrawing position with a roller holder return spring for pressing the roller holder toward the withdrawing position.
