A turbo compressor includes a case; compression stages which are disposed in a plural number in a rotatable manner with respect to the case via a sliding part; an oil tank in which a lubricant oil to be supplied to the sliding part is stored; a pressure equalization pipe which communicates the oil tank with the vicinity of the inlet of the compression stage; and a check valve which allows only the movement of the fluid from the oil tank side to the compression stage side in the pressure equalization pipe.

Provided is a casing structure including: an annular seal member which is disposed at a connection portion between first and second casings to keep air-tightness between an internal space formed by connecting the first and second casings to each other and an outside of the internal space; a first screw member which is threaded from the internal space, is disposed at the inside of the seal member in the radial direction, and fastens the first and second casings to each other; and a second screw member which is threaded from the outside, is disposed at the outside of the seal member in the radial direction, and fastens the first and second casings to each other.

A method of manufacturing a rotor assembly in which a first impeller and a second impeller are fixed to a rotation shaft which is supported by a bearing so as to be rotatable, the method including: fixing the second impeller to the rotation shaft; fitting and fixing a sleeve to the rotation shaft after fixing the second impeller; fitting and fixing the bearing to the sleeve after fitting and fixing the sleeve; and fixing the first impeller after fitting and fixing the bearing.

Method of manufacturing rotor assembly, rotor assembly, and turbo compressor

A turbo compressor includes a case; a plurality of compression stages which is disposed rotatably with respect to the case via sliding parts; an oil tank in which lubricant oils to be supplied to the sliding parts are stored; an oil cooler for cooling the lubricant oils; a primary piping for communicating the oil tank with the oil cooler; and a secondary piping for communicating the oil cooler with the sliding parts, wherein an accommodation space in which the oil cooler is accommodated is formed in the case, and the primary piping and the secondary piping are disposed within the case.

A turbo compressor is provided with a first compression stage that draws in and compresses a fluid, and a second compression stage connected to the first compression stage via a rotation shaft, that further compresses the compressed fluid from the first compression stage. The first compression stage and the second compression stage are arranged adjacent to each other with their backsides facing each other. A discharge port of the first compression stage, and a suction port of the second compression stage are formed in the same plane, and there is provided a U-shaped pipe that connects the first discharge port and the second suction port.

Turbo compressor and turbo refrigerator

A turbo compressor has a plurality of stages of compression means, each including an impeller and a diffuser, arranged in tandem with the flow of a fluid, and is capable of compressing the fluid sequentially in a plurality of the compression means and supplying the fluid compressed in the compression means in a final stage to a condenser. The diffuser of at least the compression means in the final stage is a vaneless diffuser which does not include diffuser vanes which reduce the turning speed of the fluid in the diffuser. As such, according to this turbo compressor, it is possible to reduce generation of noise resulting from the transmission of turbulence of the fluid to the condenser, which occurs as the refrigerant collides against the diffuser vane.

A turbo compressor includes a motor, an impeller which is rotationally driven as the rotative power of the motor is transmitted to the impeller, a gear unit which transmits the rotative power of the motor to the impeller, and an oil tank to which lubricant supplied to the gear unit is at least recovered, wherein the oil tank is a portion of a closed space formed by at least one of a motor housing surrounding the motor and an impeller housing surrounding the impeller.

A position adjustment device of a turbo compressor that supports an annular member of which at least a portion is capable of being disposed in a diffuser flow path and that can be disposed in and adjusts the height of the annular member. The position adjustment device has a plurality of lever mechanisms that each have a rod connected to the annular member and are disposed separated from each other in the circumferential direction; and a transmission mechanism that transmits a drive force that at least one of the plurality of lever mechanisms has received to the other lever mechanisms. The transmission mechanism has a substantially circumferential linkage in which an open section is partially provided.

A turbo compressor includes a first impeller and a second impeller, which are spaced apart at a predetermined distance from each other in a direction of an axis and are fixed such that their backs face each other, in a rotation shaft which is rotatably supported around the axis. Two angular contact ball bearings are provided between the first impeller and the second impeller to rotatably support the rotation shaft around the axis. The two angular contact ball bearings are combined such that their fronts face each other. According to this turbo compressor, robustness can be improved against the inclination of the rotation shaft, any damage of the bearings can be prevented, and the lifespan thereof can be extended.

An inlet guide vane is installed at a suction port into which a fluid is sucked by the rotation of an impeller so as to be rotatable about an axis, and is comprised of a rod-like shaft supported by an inner peripheral surface of the suction port so as to be rotatable about the axis, and a plate-like vane body connected to the shaft and provided so as to protrude from the inner peripheral surface of the suction port. The vane body includes a tapered portion formed such that both side surfaces approach each other toward an outer edge of the vane body in its width direction and an outer edge thereof at a tip in the direction of the axis, and a parallel portion arranged on the axis and formed such that both the side surfaces are parallel to each other along the direction of the axis.

Inlet guide vane, turbo compressor, and refrigerator

An arrangement for attenuating vibrations of blades attached to a peripheral surface of a rotor of an axial turbine. A through hole is formed in each rotor blade in a generally thickness direction of the blade so that the through holes in combination define a single annular passage near a rotor surface when all of the rotor blades are attached to the rotor. A wire is provided to extend through the aligned through holes. Thus, the wire frictionally contacts the through holes when the blades are caused to vibrate due to a gas pressure and a centrifugal force generated upon operation of the axial turbine. Friction contact between the wire and the through holes attenuates vibrations of the blades.
