A filtering device includes a filter tank, a first drum filter both ends of which are supported, and a cantilever second drum filter. A first end portion of the first drum filter is supported on a first sidewall of the filter tank. A second end portion of the first drum filter is supported on a second sidewall. An end portion of the second drum filter on the supported side is supported on the first sidewall. Between an end portion of the second drum filter on the non-supported side and the second sidewall, a communicating part is formed. A first jetting section jets a fluid against an outer circumferential surface of the first drum filter. A second jetting section is arranged in the vicinity of the second drum filter and jets the fluid against the second drum filter.

Filtration device

A filtration device has a primary conveyer tank which is equipped with a first conveyer, a primary drum filter which rotates inside the primary conveyer tank, a secondary conveyer tank which is equipped with a second conveyer and a secondary drum filter which rotates inside the secondary conveyer tank. Liquid in the primary conveyer tank passes through a first opening to flow into the secondary conveyer tank. Clean liquid flowing into a first clean tank is supplied to a low-pressure-side supply system by a first pump. Super-clean liquid having been filtered by the secondary drum filter passes through a second opening to flow into a second clean tank, and then is supplied to a high-pressure-side supply system by a second pump.

A paint booth is provided with a booth body and a purifier. The purifier is provided with a water tank, water rope formation mechanism, sludge removal mechanism, exhaust mechanism, barrier member, inclined plate, and windshield plate. Water falling from nozzles of a water case forms water ropes. The inclined plate has a water receiving surface sloping forwardly down from the barrier member toward a water surface of the water tank. A lower end of the windshield plate is in contact with water in the water tank. An airflow reversal section is formed between a lower end of the inclined plate and the water surface. Air directed downward from an airflow inlet is turned upward at the airflow reversal section and directed to an exhaust chamber through air circulation sections.

Paint booth with purifier

A paint booth is provided with a purifier. The purifier includes a water tank, pump, water cord formation mechanism, sludge removal mechanism, exhaust mechanism, and barrier member. The water cord formation mechanism includes a water case located in an upper part of a spray chamber. A large number of nozzles are formed in a bottom wall of the water case. Each nozzle includes a tubular portion, the inside diameter of which is reduced downward from an inlet, and a circular outlet. Water falling in straight lines from the outlet forms a large number of parallel water cords. Paint mist is collected as air containing the paint mist contacts the water cords. An exhaust chamber is formed on the back side of the barrier member.

A filtration device is provided with a filter tank, filter media unit, and magnet. The filter media unit includes a filter media accommodation case and a large number of magnetic granular filter media. The magnet is movable between first and second positions. In the first position, a magnetic field is applied to the magnetic granular filter media, so that the magnetic granular filter media magnetically attract one another. In the second position, magnetic attraction between the magnetic granular filter media is canceled. The filter media accommodation case includes a nonmagnetic mesh member of a nonmagnetic material and magnetism intensification plate of a magnetic material. When the magnet is in the first position, the magnetic granular filter media and nonmagnetic mesh member are located between the magnetism intensification plate and the magnet.

A magnet drum mechanism of a magnet separator includes a cylindrical drum, a magnet provided inside of the drum and forming a magnetic field region configured to adsorb magnetic particles in a circumferentially partial range of an outer peripheral surface of the drum, and a scraper provided in a nonmagnetic field region of the drum, the scraper being configured to guide the magnetic particles adsorbed onto the outer peripheral surface of the drum to an outside of the separator main body in the nonmagnetic field region. The scraper includes a front end portion which faces the outer peripheral surface of the drum in a contactless manner along an axial direction of the drum, and a small gap is formed between the front end portion and the outer peripheral surface of the drum.

Magnet separator

A contaminated fluid recovery apparatus includes a dirty tank, a conveyor, and a drum-shaped filter unit. Inlet ports of the drum-shaped filter unit open along an axis of a magnet drum. The conveyor scrapes out an object for removal settled on a bottom portion of the dirty tank toward an exit section. The conveyor includes a lower portion which moves along the bottom portion and an upper portion which passes over the lower portion. The magnet drum is located horizontally between the lower portion and the upper portion of the conveyor so that its axis is perpendicular to a direction of travel of the conveyor. The magnet drum is driven by a chain of the conveyor.

Contaminated fluid recovery apparatus

A contaminated fluid recovery apparatus includes a sludge removal mechanism having a dirty tank, a conveyor, and a magnetic drum which is arranged in the fluid circulating section. The contaminated fluid recovery apparatus is provided with an overflow tank. The overflow tank has a function to keep a fluid surface of the dirty tank in a position higher than the fluid circulating section and the magnetic drum. The magnetic drum is located horizontally between a lower portion and an upper portion of the conveyor. The conveyor scrapes out chips deposited on a bottom portion of the dirty tank toward an exit section. A scraping member, which is in contact with the magnetic drum, drops sludge attracted to the magnetic drum toward the lower portion of the conveyor.

A filter device has a filter tank into which a contaminated fluid is introduced, a magnetic ball filter medium using a large number of metal balls, magnets, and lift rods. The magnetic ball filter medium is formed of an aggregate of a large number of spherical metal balls of a magnetic material and is held in a filter medium storage portion in a manner such that the metal balls are movable relatively to one another. The magnets are movable between a first position and a second position. When in the first position, the magnets apply a magnetic field to the metal balls, thereby causing the metal balls magnetically to attract one another and so that the metal balls are fixed to one another. When in the second position, the magnetic attraction between the metal balls is canceled so that the metal balls are movable.

Filter device

A filter device is provided with a filter tank, a filter drum disposed in the filter tank, and a drive mechanism which rotates the filter drum. The filter element is composed of a porous plate that is formed with a large number of circulation holes. The porous plate is formed into a cylindrical shape. An inlet port opens in an outer peripheral surface of the porous plate. An outlet port opens in an inner peripheral surface of the porous plate. The circulation hole is formed by etching. A smallest opening of the circulation hole is formed between the inlet port and an intermediate part with respect to a plate thickness direction. An opening width of the circulation hole increases from the smallest opening toward the outlet port to form a tapered shape.

Filtering device

A cyclone-type separator comprises a hollow cylindrical main body in to which liquid containing foreign matter is introduced, a clean room provided in an upper end of the main body, a communication pipe which connects the clean room to an interior of the main body, and a porous separating pipe arranged in the clean room. As the liquid swirls in the main body, an eddy stream is generated. A columnar air layer and a clean liquid layer are formed, both aligned with the centerline of the eddy stream. The air layer and the liquid layer are guided via the communication pipe into the separating pipe. At the bottom of the clean room, there are provided a first reservoir for storing the liquid coming through the separating pipe, a second reservoir for storing the liquid flowing from the first reservoir, and a coolant outlet port for discharging the clean liquid.

Cyclone-type separator for separating foreign matters by utilizing a centrifugal force

A recovery apparatus comprising a running member which runs between a first position where the member is immersed in the liquid stored in a reserve tank and a second position where the member projects upwards from a surface level of the liquid, and a bucket which is secured to the running member and which scoops the floating matter floating at the surface level of the liquid, while moving from the first position to the second position. The bucket comprises a bucket body which has an opening for allowing the liquid containing the floating matter to flow in, and which gradually narrows downwards from the opening, partition plates which extend downwards from the opening and face each other and which block the floating matter flowing from the opening, and discharge ports which are made in the bucket body and open at a position lower than the opening.

Recovery apparatus having buckets for scooping up floating matter

Chip treatment device

The method for bonding graphite to metal, includes the steps of forming a metal carbide layer on a surface of the graphite, the metal being to be bonded to said graphite, and brazing the graphite to the metal with an active alloy brazing material. The present invention is based on the fact discovered by the inventor that if a metal carbide layer is in advance formed on a surface of a graphite, an active metal such as Ti could more easily react on the metal carbide layer to thereby bond the metal to the graphite, rather than the case in which a graphite member is made to directly react on an active metal to thereby bond the graphite member to the metal.

Method of bonding graphite to metal

A filter apparatus includes a mesh filter consisting of a flexible sheet having a smooth surface and a multiplicity of through-holes and formed into a cylindrical configuration. The leading edge of a scraper is brought into abutting contact with the outer surface of the cylindrically formed mesh filter, or two scrapers can be provided on the inner and outer surfaces of the mesh filter with their leading edges abutted against these surfaces. Provided within the mesh filter is a support shaft serving also as a discharge pipe. The discharge pipe discharges clean oil filtered by the mesh filter, and the support shaft rotatably supports the mesh filter. The cylindrical mesh filter is disposed in a tank for accommodating cutting oil or abrasive oil containing solid foreign matter such as cutting chips or abrasive grains. The mesh filter is rotated on the discharge pipe/support shaft by a drive mechanism. The oil containing the solid foreign matter is passed through the cylindrical mesh filter from the outer to the inner side thereof so that the foreign matter in the oil is trapped by the through-holes. The foreign matter thus trapped is scraped off the mesh filter by the scraper or scrapers as the mesh filter rotates.
