An integrated ink-and-paper cassette () mountable to a thermal transfer printer () includes an ink-sheet supply unit housing () between an opening () for ejecting the recording sheet () and an ink-sheet take-up unit housing (). Also, an upper case () mainly defining a recording sheet housing () is welded to a lower case () defining ink-sheet housings when assembled with the upper case (), in the vicinity of a conveyance path of the ink sheet () at which a load is likely applied.

Cassette for a printer

A cartridge detachable from a printer has a roll paper unit including roll paper, a roller, and flanges, and a separation member used to pull out the roll paper from the roll paper unit. Upon rotating the roll paper unit in a direction to feed out the roll paper, the roll paper is brought into contact with the separation member, thereby pulling out the roll paper from the roll paper unit and feeding out the roll paper to outside the cartridge.

An integrated ink-and-paper cassette () mountable to a thermal transfer printer includes a casing () defining an ink-sheet supply unit housing () and an ink-sheet take-up unit housing () with an opening () provided therebetween for feeding a recording sheet (). An engagement unit () is provided at a surface of the casing () substantially perpendicular to an axis of a first bobbin (), for engaging an engagement portion () of the printer to prevent deformation of the cassette () when the cassette () is mounted to the printer.

The recording sheet/ink sheet integral cassette includes a recording sheet containing portion constituted of a substantially rectangular frame member which has a first aperture for sheet feeding, pressurization and recording sheet loading, and a second aperture for feeding the recording sheet to a surface opposed to the first aperture, an ink sheet containing portion for containing an ink sheet to be fed, and an ink sheet winding portion for winding up the ink sheet fed from the ink sheet containing portion. The ink sheet winding portion is positioned along a side of the substantially rectangular shape, the second aperture is positioned on a side opposed to the side, and the ink sheet containing portion is provided along the second aperture, and a third aperture for feeding and driving the recording sheet is provided in an intermediate portion between the ink sheet containing portion and the ink sheet winding portion.

A recording sheet/ink sheet integral type cartridge, includes a recording sheet containing portion that contains recording sheets by stacking the sheets; and an ink sheet containing portion that contains ink sheets, the recording sheet containing portion including two separating pawls disposed to catch corners of a leading edge of the recording sheet in a feeding direction and separating the recording sheet and a first aperture portion formed in one of two side surfaces of said recording sheet containing portion in a direction orthogonal to the recording sheet feeding direction, and urging the recording sheet, wherein one of the two separating pawls, which is closer to the first aperture portion, is larger than the other.

The present invention relates to a barrier member slidably movable along the surface of a camera to a closing position for covering a lens barrel of a camera body and to an opening position for letting the lens barrel be exposed. The camera includes a pressing member for pressing the barrier member from the side of the camera body, and regulating the slide movement of the barrier member in the closing and opening positions. In the camera of the present invention, the barrier member is provided with a guide member abutting on the pressing member at a plurality of points with the center of the pressing member being interposed therebetween in a direction along the surface of the camera and in a direction orthogonal to a slide moving direction of the barrier member, thereby eliminating a backlash of the barrier member.
