There is disclosed a treatment device for an endoscope, comprising a treatment portion in which an operation wire is forward/backward moveably inserted into a main tube of an elongated flexible tube to be inserted into a body, a tip end of the operation wire forms a loop for treatment by itself in a projection state from the main tube, and the loop is adapted to be retractable and storable in the main tube, wherein the treatment portion is formed with a wire rope obtained by integrally intertwining a plurality of side strand wires with a core strand wire, and spiral convex or concave portions continuously disposed along the outer periphery of the wire rope are formed with the side strand wires.

Treatment device for endoscope

A catheter to be used as an injection tube includes a flexible sheath to be inserted into a celom through an insertion channel of an endoscope for injecting a medicinal solution or the like into the celom through the sheath. The sheath includes a distal end portion which has a distal aperture smaller than the inside diameter of the sheath, a frontmost portion rounded with a radius of curvature larger than the thickness of the wall of the sheath, and at least one slit extending to the distal aperture.

An endoscopic operation instrument according to the present invention comprises an operating portion formed by a plurality of elastic wires or a folded-back elastic wire received in the distal end of a flexible sheath, the elastic wires or the folded-back elastic wire being bent in the intermediate portion, wherein the bent portions of the elastic wires are located at different positions. Thus, the handling of the instrument is facilitated when the operating portion is pulled in and pushed out.

A stone disintegrator apparatus has a probe with discharge electrodes and a power supply circuit for supplying a discharge voltage to the probe for causing discharge between the discharge electrodes. An electrode life detection circuit detects the number of use or discharge operations of the probe so as to determine the remaining life of the discharge electrodes. A discharge inhibit circuit inhibits re-use or discharge of the probe when the life detection circuit detects an end of electrode life.
