A switch body has a wiper switch unit installed with a wiper operation lever, and a turn signal switch unit installed with a turn signal operation lever installed respectively therein. The switch body also has a CPU, a keyless reception circuit and an anti-burglar amplifier circuit incorporated therein. An antenna for the keyless reception circuit located within the wiper operation lever also functions as an antenna for the anti-burglar amplifier circuit.

Lever combination switch unit

A slide switch opening and closing a circuit for supplies electricity to a load by making and breaking contact between a movable contact and a stationary contact. The stationary contact is integrally formed with an arc generating portion for generating an arc when the circuit is opened or closed. The arc generating portion protrudes in the direction of movement of the movable contact and has a width which gradually decreases from its base portion towards its tip portion. The slide switch is capable of preventing the arc generating portion and the movable contact from having a groove due to wear.

Slide switch

A switch device includes a stationary contact, a movable contact member having a pair of arms on both sides through which the movable contact piece is swung so as to be brought selectively into or out of engagement with the stationary contact. The movable contact piece is sloping near the dead point thereof on a surface to be pushed. The device both includes an operating knob having a pusher adapted to apply a force the surface to be pushed, the pusher swinging the movable contact piece when the pusher, and sliding on the surface to be pushed, goes over the dead point, wherein the center of swing of the movable contact piece is substantially equal in level to the dead point on the surface which is to be pushed.

A switch device includes a switch body, an operating knob rockingly provided on the switch body, an articulation surface provided in a rear surface the operating knob, an articulation piece provided on the switch body, the articulation piece being pushed against the articulation surface to urge the operating knob to be set at a neutral position, a pusher cooperating with the operating knob a switch operated by the pusher when the operating knob rocks, and a pin penetrating both side walls of the operating knob and extending through the pusher, the pin being provided inside the operating knob, the pin inserted into an elongated hole formed in said articulation piece to permit an articulating motion of the articulation piece.

A sliding switch having a tandem-type contact structure in which a first and a second insulation portion are disposed in a first and a second negative fixed contact, respectively, of a first and a second group of fixed contacts. When a first and a second movable contact slide between a neutral position and a first operating position, an arc is produced between the first movable contact and the first negative fixed contact in which the first insulation portion is disposed. When the first and the second movable contact slide between the neutral position and a second operating position, an arc is produced between the second movable contact and the second negative fixed contact in which the second insulation portion is disposed. A decline in the insulation performance between the fixed contacts of different polarities is prevented.

Structure of sliding switch contacts

Two leaf springs of substantially identical width which define first and second movable members are superposed on each other at one end and connected together. A movable contact is attached to the thus connected portion. The first movable member has a slot formed in a middle portion thereof. The width of an end portion of the second movable member is set so that the end portion can be inserted in the slot. A supporting member being inserted in the slot has a portion for swingably supporting an edge portion of the slot and another portion for swingably supporting an end portion of the second movable member opposite to the movable contact. The second movable member is curved so that upon application of a operating force to the first movable member the urging direction of the second movable member changes to cause a snap action to thereby selectively bring the movable contact into contact with one of the two fixed contacts. The width of the second movable member can be increased irrespective of the size of the slot, thus making it possible to provide a large urging force.

Switch device

A multiple contact switch having at least one elastically deformable contact spring that is deformed by means of projections from a plunger to initiate contact with normally-open electrical contacts within the switch. A normally-closed contact piece within the switch also confronts the normally-open contact. Upon deformation of the elastically deformable spring contact, contacts are made and interrupted by means of contacts affixed to the movable contact springs.

Multiple contact switch

A snap switch with a self-cleaning function having a switch body with a fixed contact and a movable contact for performing make-break operations. A knob, mounted on the switch body, operates a contact operation member causing the movable contact to abut the fixed contact when the knob is rotated by a predetermined rotational angle and further causing the movable contact to slide on the fixed contact when the knob is further rotated.
