A hydraulically powered impact device for rock drilling having an impact piston driven by a hydraulic drive unit and a shank rod adapted to be struck by the impact piston. A motor imparts a rotary motion to the shank rod by rotating a sleeve through a gear train. The sleeve is rotatably mounted around the shank rod. A chuck is splined to the shank rod and a dog clutch is provided between the sleeve and the chuck for engaging both. A fluid passage is formed for introducing lubricant fluid stored in a gear casing into a chamber accommodating the dog clutch. The fluid passages includes a valve which is held open as long as the cover is connected to the main casing.

Hydraulic impact device

A radiator guard structure for a vehicle comprising a pair of lift cylinder supports secured to a frame of the vehicle, a pair of hooks secured to the frame, and a radiator cover detachably mounted to the frame for guarding a radiator. The radiator cover has formed or mounted thereto a pair of pins each being engageable with the respective hooks and a pair of mounting seat structures. A resilient mounting is provided between each of said mounting seat structures and each of said lift cylinder supports.

Radiator guard structure for vehicles

A suspension apparatus for a track-type vehicle comprises a main frame having a pair of laterally spaced track frames pivotally mounted on either side thereof through a pair of pivot shafts fixedly connected to either side thereof. The forward portions of the track frames are connected to opposite ends of an equalizer bar extending transversely therebetween through a pair of stress-relieved mounting devices into which lateral and vertical displacements of the track frames and the equalizer bar are absorbed so as to prevent 'toe-in' of the track frames.

Suspension apparatus for track-type vehicles

An excavator for excavating a tunnel is provided which has a body provided with gathering and transporting means for the materials excavated by the excavator for discharging the same. The excavator comprises a horizontally and vertically swingable boom mounted on the body and actuated by a cylinder-piston assembly interconnected between the body and the boom. A vertically tiltable excavating cutter is tiltably mounted on the forward end portion of the boom with or without a vertically swingable bracket actuated by a cylinder-piston assembly which is interposed between the cutter and the boom. An impact motor is adapted to intermittently actuating the cutter. An extensible and retractable boom actuated by a cylinder-piston assembly may be interposed between the bracket and the horizontally and vertically swingable boom.
