A signal transmission circuit includes a primary element configured to receive differential signals which are generated from a transmission signal and contain alternating-current (AC) components, a secondary element magnetically or capacitively coupled with the primary element and configured to output AC signals containing the AC components of the differential signals, a secondary circuit including a pair of transmission lines configured to propagate the AC signals. The secondary circuit is electrically connected to the secondary element and extracts the transmission signal from the AC signals. The feedback circuit feedbacks an intermediate voltage between voltages of the pair of transmission lines such that the intermediate voltage is converged to a reference voltage. This signal transmission circuit prevents the secondary circuit from malfunctioning due to noise.

Signal transmission circuit

A transformer includes a multilayer board including insulation layers stacked in a thickness direction, a primary coil provided on at least one of the insulation layers, and a secondary coil provided on at least one of the insulation layers. The primary coil includes first sub coils electrically connected in series to each other, and second sub coils electrically connected in series to each other. Surfaces of the plurality of insulation layers constitute layer planes of the multilayer board. At least two of the first sub coils are provided on layer planes out of the layer plane different from each other. At least two of the second sub coils are provided on layer planes out of the layer planes different from each other. An average of positions of the first sub coils in the thickness direction is aligned with an average of positions of the second sub coils in the thickness direction.

An input and output operation device includes an actuatorincluding an operation unit; a movable unit having the operation unit and at least one attraction magnet mounted thereon and including a concaved portion in a part thereof; a secured unit including a convexed spherical surface loosely engageable with at least one magnetic member and the concaved portion of the movable unit, the convexed spherical surface being point-contactable or line-contactable with the concaved portion of the movable unit by a magnetic attraction force, the secured unit supporting the movable unit such that the movable unit is freely rotatable as centered around a spherical center of the convexed spherical surface; a first driving unit rotating the operation unit as centered around an X-axis passing the spherical center; a second driving unit rotating the operation unit as centered around a Y-axis perpendicular to the X-axis; a third driving unit rotating the movable unit as centered around a Z-axis that is perpendicular to the X-axis and the Y-axis and is a central axis of the operation unit; and a detector detecting a first rotation angle and a second rotation angle of the operation unit around the X-axis and the Y-axis; and also includes a detection circuit unitgenerating first and second rotation angle signals; a control computation processing unitgenerating first and second target rotation angle signals; and a driving circuit unitgenerating a signal usable to drive the first and second driving units.

Input and output operation device

A sensor device is provided with a voltage detection type sensor unit for converting a physical quantity into a voltage value and outputting a voltage signal indicating the voltage value; a chopper amplifier unit for generating a modulation signal by chopping the voltage signal output from the sensor unit with a predetermined chopping frequency, amplifying the modulation signal into an amplification signal, then demodulating the amplification signal and outputting it as an output signal; an integration unit including an operational amplifier, an input resistor connected to the inverting input terminal of the operational amplifier and a capacitor connected between the inverting input terminal and an output terminal of the operational amplifier; and a digital conversion unit for converting the output signal integrated by the integration unit into a digital signal.

Sensor device

In an apparatus using an intensity-modulated light for detection of spatial information based upon light intensity of light reflected from a target space, a timing synchronization circuit is provided to synchronize a phase of the intensity-modulated light from a light-emitting element with a timing of operating a light-receiving element receiving the intensity-modulated light. The light-receiving element is caused to operate for enabling the detection of intensity of the received light for each of a plurality of phase regions within one cycle of the intensity-modulated light. The timing synchronization circuit functions to compare a cyclic variation determining the operation of the light-receiving element with a cyclic variation associated with an output from a light-emitting element driving circuit in order to keep a constant phase difference between these two cyclic variations.
