A sensor includes a generator configured to generate a predetermined detection target, a detector configured to detect the detection target generated by the generator, and a substrate provided with the generator and the detector. The substrate includes a first portion provided with the generator, a second portion provided with the detector, a bent portion that is bent between the first portion and the second portion such that the generator and the detector face each other, and a ground pattern provided in a portion including the first portion, the second portion, and the bent portion. In the ground pattern, a ground pattern of the bent portion is narrower than a ground pattern of the first portion and a ground pattern of the second portion.

Sensor, sensor substrate, and sensor manufacturing method

A sensor configured to detect displacement of a rotation angle of a shaft due to a rotation or a turn of the shaft, the sensor includes: a bearing rotatably supporting the shaft; and a housing including a bearing hole to which the bearing is fixed. The shaft and an inner circumferential surface of the bearing are fixed to each other by an adhesive agent, and an outer circumferential surface of the bearing and an inner circumferential surface of the bearing hole of the housing are fixed to each other by an adhesive agent.

Sensor

A sensor manufacturing method is a method for manufacturing a sensor including a generator that generates a predetermined detection target, a detector that detects the detection target generated by the generator, and a motion body that performs motion in the area in between the generator and the detector. In the method, the generator and the detector are positioned opposite to each other by either curving or bending a substrate including a first portion having the generator installed thereon and a second portion having the detector installed thereon that are formed in an integrated manner, and the substrate and the motion body are made to perform relative movement in such a way that the motion body enters the area in between the generator and the detector.

Sensor manufacturing method and sensor

A sensor including a generating unit; a detecting unit; a substrate; a member that exerts influence on an object to be detected; and a housing that includes a first housing that operably supports the member and a second housing to which a part of the substrate is fixed. The substrate includes a first portion provided with the generating unit and a second portion provided with the detecting unit that are integrated, and has a curved shape or a bent shape in which a surface of the first portion at which the generating unit is provided and a surface of the second portion at which the detecting unit is provided face each other. One of the first portion and the second portion is fixed to the second housing. A surface of the other of the first portion and the second portion adheres to the first housing.

Sensor having generating and detecting units on a substrate with a curve or bent shape in a cylindrical housing and method of manufacturing sensor

A sensor including: a generating unit; a detecting unit that detects the object to be detected generated by the generating unit; and a substrate at which the generating unit and the detecting unit are provided. The substrate is a flexible substrate that includes a first portion provided with the generating unit and a second portion provided with the detecting unit, the first portion and the second portion being integrated, and that takes a curved shape or a bent shape in which a surface of the first portion at which the generating unit is provided and a surface of the second portion at which the detecting unit is provided face each other. A plate support member is attached to a back-side surface of at least one of the surface of the first portion and the surface of the second portion.

Sensor and method of manufacturing sensor

An optical sensor including a light-emitting element, four light-receiving elements facing the light-emitting element, and a substrate at which the light-emitting element and the light-receiving elements are provided. The substrate includes a first portion at which the light-emitting element is provided and a second portion at which the light-receiving elements are provided, the first portion and the second portion being integrated. Respective distances from the four light-receiving elements to one point on a predetermined plane are equal, four line segments that connect the one point and centers of respective light-receiving regions of the four light-receiving elements form right angles with each other, and a normal line of the predetermined plane that passes through the one point passes through an emission point of the light of the light-emitting element or a center of an emission surface of the light of the light-emitting element.

Optical sensor

The sensor holder has an annular portion that holds the sensors. A holding ring that is securely fitted in an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder portion constituting a cover made of metal in terms of a large tight fit is embedded in an intermediate portion of this annular portion in the axial direction. A portion of a folded portion of the holding ring in the axial direction is set in a just center position between axial positions of sensing portions of both sensors. According to this configuration, the above problem is solved by preventing such a situation that the thermal expansion or the thermal contraction yields a phase difference between the output signals of both sensors.
