A connector composed of a connector assembly A1 including a plurality of one connectors A.sub.1, A.sub.2, A.sub.3 and A.sub.4, a connector group B1 including a plurality of other connectors B.sub.1, B.sub.2, B.sub.3 and B.sub.4 to be electrically connected to the one connectors A.sub.1, A.sub.2, A.sub.3 and A.sub.4, and a connector assembly frame C1 having a plurality of connector driving elongated holes 6a, 6b, 6c and 6d formed thereon corresponding to the other connectors B.sub.1, B.sub.2, B.sub.3 and B.sub.4. While driven pins 5 disposed on the other connectors B.sub.1, B.sub.2, B.sub.3 and B.sub.4 are fitted into the connector driving elongated holes 6a, 6b, 6c and 6d, the other connectors B.sub.1, B.sub.2, B.sub.3 and B.sub.4 are individually turnably received in the connector assembly frame C 1. Subsequently, while one end of the connector assembly frame C1 is turnably engaged with a fulcrum portion 2 formed at one end of a base plate having the one connectors A.sub.1, A.sub.2, A.sub.3 and A.sub.4 mounted thereon, the connector assembly frame C1 is manually turned about the fulcrum portion 2 so as to allow the other connectors B.sub.1, B.sub.2, B.sub.3 and B.sub.4 to be successively turnably fitted to the one connector A.sub.1, A.sub.2, A.sub.3 and A.sub.4 arranged on the base board 1.

Connector usable with a low intensity of insert power

A frame-coupling-type connector includes a first connector, a second connector to be engaged with the first connector, a frame pivotably supported at a central portion thereof by the first connector and having an effect of a lever, and a coupling mechanism. The coupling mechanism includes a frame-side engaging portion provided at one end of the frame and a connector-side engaging portion provided at one side of the second connector. The frame-side engaging portion and the connector-side engaging portion are pivotably and slidably engaged with each other. The first connector is engaged with the second connector in a straight line by the effect of the lever of the frame and by the coupling mechanism.

Frame-coupling-type electrical connector

A flat wire harness attaching unit for installing a flat wire harness onto a vehicle body. The flat wire harness is composed of a plurality of wires covered with synthetic resin insulation which wires are bundled and united into a flat integral structure by melting the synthetic resin insulation. The wire harness attaching unit has a clip section and an attaching section. The clip section is provided for association with a vehicle body side whereas the attaching section is made of a material capable of being made integral with the synthetic resin insulation through fusion to be secured to one of the surfaces of the flat wire harness. The clip section may be integral with or separate from the attaching section.

Flat wire harness attaching unit

A flat wire harness attaching unit for installing a flat wire harness onto a vehicle body. The flat wire harness is composed of a plurality of wires covered with synthetic resin insulation which wires are bundled and united into a flat integral structure by melting the synthetic resin insulation. The wire harness attaching unit has a clip section and an attaching section. The clip section is provided for association with a vehicle body side whereas the attaching section is made of a material capable of being made integral with the synthetic resin insulation through fusion to be secured with one of the surfaces of the flat wire harness. The clip section may be integral to or separate from the attaching section.
