An antenna apparatus is provided, which removes dead directions, and at the same time, has a suppression means for easily suppressing the change of an antenna directivity pattern caused by the effect of a feed line or a radome and an improvement means for simply improving the VSWR deterioration caused by the effect of a reflector or the radome. The antenna apparatus includes a sleeve antenna connected to a coaxial cable and a reflector in the shape of a cone, the sleeve antenna including a central conductor and a sleeve, in which the sleeve antenna is arranged in a concave portion of the cone so that the central conductor is aligned with a central axis of the cone, and a top end of the central conductor is separate from a vertex portion of the cone.

Antenna apparatus

Provided is a complex antenna which corresponds to both a circularly polarized wave and a linearly polarized wave. The complex antenna includes a substrate, a power feed terminal, four helical antenna devices disposed on the substrate at intervals of 90 degrees, four delay lines having different lengths by a quarter wavelength, and four switch modules which are connected to the power feed terminal in common and each of which is connected to each helical antenna device and each delay line. Each switch module selects one of a first mode in which the power feed terminal and each helical antenna device are directly connected and a second mode in which each delay line is connected to each helical antenna device so that a phase of a power feed fed from the power feed terminal and propagated from each delay line to each helical antenna device can be sequentially shifted by 90 degrees.

Complex antenna

Disclosed herein is an antenna that can be manufactured in a smaller size and can achieve good wideband characteristics. The antenna includes a substantially semicircular antenna component installed in a monopole or dipole structure. Power is supplied to an end of the diameter of the antenna component.

Antenna

Provided is a compact antenna for installment in a portable terminal and adjusting a resonant frequency. The compact antenna device includes an antenna unit including first and second elements, the first element including a first antenna terminal having at least one of meandering and curved patterns wholly or partially, and the second element including an end connected to another end of the first element and another end having a second antenna terminal, a feeding unit exciting the antenna unit through the first and second antenna terminals, a switching circuit connected between the antenna unit and the feeding unit and selectively switching one or both of the first and second elements in order to connect one or both of the first and second elements to the feeding unit. A resonant frequency of the antenna unit varies during feeding by the feeding unit depending on the switching operation of the switching circuit.
