A compressed air cooling apparatus of a fuel cell system is provided that includes i) a heat absorber installed at a first part of an air supplying system which supplies compressed air of a first compressed by an air compressor to a fuel cell stack, ii) a heat radiator installed at a second part of a stack cooling system which cools a coolant circulating to the fuel cell stack, iii) a heat pipe which connects the heat absorber and the heat radiator and is filled with the refrigerant therein, wherein the heat absorber is disposed at a lower position than the heat radiator for the refrigerant to flow from the heat radiator to the heat absorber.

A cooling system according to an exemplary embodiment may include a heat generation device that is cooled by a coolant solution that exchanges heat with the heat generation device to maintain the heat generation device at a required temperature. More specifically, the cooling system includes a temperature sensor that detects a temperature of the coolant solution, a conductivity sensor that detects the conductivity of the coolant solution, and a controller that uses coolant solution temperature and coolant solution conductivity that are detected through the temperature sensor and the conductivity sensor to determine a condition of the coolant solution.

System and method for detecting the condition of a coolant in a vehicle

A method for controlling a water pump of a vehicle moving a coolant circulating through a cooling load generating heat and a radiator includes calculating a rotation speed command based on a control reference temperature of the coolant. A water pump suction pressure is set and compared with a preset control reference pressure to control the rotation speed command. A system for controlling the water pump includes a first temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of a coolant exhausted from the cooling load and a second temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of the coolant to be supplied to the cooling load. A water pump pressure sensor detects a water pump suction pressure, and a water pump driver drives the water pump. A controller controls the water pump driver based on signals received from the first temperature sensor, the second temperature sensor, and the water pump pressure sensor.
