A flexible display device including a display panel providing a base surface and a touch screen disposed on the base surface. The display panel may include a plurality of light emitting areas and a non-light emitting area disposed adjacent to the light emitting areas. A plurality of touch electrodes and a plurality of insulating layers of the touch screen may have a mesh shape through which openings corresponding to the plurality of light emitting areas are defined. Accordingly, a flexibility of the flexible display device is improved, and the touch electrode is prevented from being cracked.

A flexible display apparatus includes a flexible substrate including a display area and a bending area outside the display area, the bending area to be bent around a bending axis; an inorganic insulating layer on the flexible substrate; a cut unit in the inorganic insulating layer in the bending area; a stress relaxation layer filling the cut unit and extending into the display area; a wiring part on the stress relaxation layer in the bending area; a planarization layer covering the wiring part and on the stress relaxation layer; and a display on the planarization layer in the display area and electrically connected to the wiring part.

Provided are a system and method for correcting an image through estimation of a distortion parameter. The method includes receiving a distorted image including one or more measurement targets, extracting a plurality of feature points from each of the measurement targets, classifying the one or more measurement targets as a distorted target and an undistorted target by comparing distances between the plurality of extracted feature points and a center point of the received distorted image with each other, estimating a distortion parameter on the basis of standard deviations of a plurality of feature points of the classified distorted target and undistorted target, and correcting the received distorted image on the basis of the estimated distortion parameter.

A thin-film transistor (TFT) array substrate and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display are disclosed. In one aspect, the TFT array substrate includes a driving TFT including a driving gate electrode, a switching TFT including a switching gate electrode and spaced apart from the driving TFT, and a storage capacitor including a first electrode electrically connected to the driving gate electrode and a second electrode formed over and insulated from the first electrode. The TFT array substrate also includes a capacitor insulating film formed between the first and second electrodes and an interlayer insulating film covering at least part of the driving TFT, at least part of the switching TFTs, and the capacitor insulating film, wherein the switching gate electrode and the second electrode are formed of the same material.

A thin film transistor (TFT) circuit panel comprises a substrate and first and second patterned multi-layer structures formed over the substrate. The first patterned multi-layer structure is to provide a driving TFT and a storage capacitor, and comprises: a semiconductor layer, a first electrode over the semiconductor layer, a second electrode disposed over the first electrode and insulated from the first electrode, a storage insulating layer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a driving gate insulating layer disposed between the semiconductor layer and the first electrode. The second patterned multi-layer structure is spaced from the first multi-layer structure, and comprises: a lower patterned insulating layer, a patterned conductive layer and a top patterned insulating layer. An organic insulating material is filled between the first and second patterned multi-layer structures.

Thin film transistor array panel and organic light-emitting display apparatus including the same

A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the device includes a substrate including a display area displaying an image via a plurality of pixels and a non-display area adjacent to the display area. The device also includes a first line and a second line in the display area. The display device also includes a first connection line and a second connection line in the non-display area, wherein the first and second connection lines are respectively connected to the first and second lines and extend in different directions to cross each other. The display device also includes an insulating layer formed over the substrate and including a first portion and a second portion, the first portion corresponding to the display area and the second portion corresponds to a crossing area where the first and second connection lines cross each other, the thickness of the first and second portions are different.
