According to various embodiments, a power converter circuit is disclosed. The power converter circuit includes at least two vertically stacked printed circuit boards (PCBs) comprising a top PCB and a bottom PCB. The power converter circuit further includes at least one multiphase coupled inductor placed between the top PCB and the bottom PCB. The top PCB is coupled to the bottom PCB via at least one conductive winding of the multiphase coupled inductor. The power converter circuit further includes at least one circuit module placed above the top PCB and at least one power source placed below the bottom PCB. The multiphase coupled inductor is configured to deliver current vertically from the bottom PCB to the top PCB.

System and method for vertical power delivery to electronic systems

According to various embodiments, a power converter circuit is disclosed. The power converter circuit includes a plurality of voltage splitting units (VSUs) coupled to a plurality of current splitting units (CSUs). The VSUs are connected to each other in series and the CSUs are connected to each other in parallel. The VSUs each have a fixed voltage conversion ratio and are operated at a lower frequency than the CSUs. The CSUs each have an adjustable voltage conversion ratio and are operated at a higher frequency than the VSUs.

A power conversion system includes one or more switched capacitor input cells connected between an input dc source and a plurality of interleaved multilevel voltage rails, one or more inductor links connected to the plurality of interleaved multilevel voltage rails, and one or more output cells, wherein each output cell is connected to an output load and all of the plurality of interleaved multilevel voltage rails through a corresponding inductor link.

According to various embodiments, a power conversion circuit is disclosed. The power conversion circuit includes at least one DC bus. The power conversion circuit further includes a plurality of DC-AC conversion units coupled to the DC bus and configured to convert a DC voltage into an AC voltage. The power conversion circuit also includes a multi-winding transformer comprising a magnetic core and a plurality of windings, where each DC-AC conversion unit is coupled to a corresponding winding of the multi-winding transformer.

According to various embodiments, a dual-band multi-receiver (DBMR) wireless power transfer (WPT) system is disclosed. The WPT system includes a transmitter including a first dc-dc converter coupled to a first inverter, a second dc-dc converter coupled to a second inverter, a reactance steering network (RSN) coupled to the first and second inverters, a high frequency transmitting coil coupled to the RSN, and a low frequency transmitting coil coupled to the first and second dc-dc converters. The WPT system further includes one or more receivers, each receiver including a high frequency receiving coil, a low frequency receiving coil, and a rectifier coupled to the high frequency receiving coil and low frequency receiving coil.
