A display device includes a display panel including light emitting elements and an anti-reflective layer. The anti-reflective layer is disposed on the display panel and includes a first layer comprising a pattern having a first refractive index, a second layer having a second refractive index greater than the first refractive index of the first layer, and a color filter layer overlapping the first layer and the second layer. The pattern of the first layer comprises a surface inclined with respect to an upper surface of the display panel, and the second layer is disposed on the surface of the pattern of the first layer.

Display panel and display device including encapsulation layer

A display device includes a display panel including a peripheral region adjacent to a light-emitting region, and a reflection preventing facing the display panel. The reflection preventing layer includes a light-blocking pattern corresponding to the peripheral region and defining an opening corresponding to the light-emitting region, a color filter in the opening of the light-blocking pattern, and a protruding pattern corresponding to the light-blocking pattern.

Light emitting area including diffractive pattern and display device having the same

A display device includes a substrate, a sub-pixel structure, a light blocking member, and a reflective member. A display area including a sub-pixel area is defined on the substrate. The sub-pixel structure is disposed in the sub-pixel area on the substrate. The light blocking member is disposed over the sub-pixel structure, and a first opening is defined in a portion of the light blocking member which overlaps the sub-pixel structure. The reflective member is disposed between the light blocking member and the sub-pixel structure, and the reflective member surrounds the sub-pixel structure and the first opening.

Display device

A display apparatus includes a substrate including a display area, a pixel circuit arranged in the display area of the substrate and including a wiring, a driving transistor, a compensation transistor, a first initialization transistor, and an emission control transistor, and a light-emitting element connected to the pixel circuit. A trench indented in a width direction of the wiring is defined in at least a portion of the wiring disposed inside the pixel circuit.

Display apparatus

A display device is provided including a substrate. The substrate includes a pixel area and a light-blocking area. A light-emitting element is arranged in the pixel area of the substrate. An insulating layer is disposed on the substrate. The insulating layer has an opening corresponding to the light-blocking area and an insulating pattern corresponding to the pixel area. Color control member and display device employing the same

A display apparatus includes a first substrate in which a plurality of pixel areas and a non-pixel area around the pixel areas are defined, a cavity-defining layer disposed on the first substrate and defining a plurality of cavities corresponding to the pixel areas, an insulating layer disposed on the cavity-defining layer and in the cavities, a liquid crystal layer disposed on the insulating layer in the cavities, and a second substrate disposed on the insulating layer to cover the liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal layer has a same refractive index as the cavity-defining layer when the liquid crystal layer is not driven. The liquid crystal layer has a greater refractive index than the cavity-defining layer when the liquid crystal layer is driven.

Display apparatus and method of fabricating the same

A display device includes a substrate on which a pixel area and a non-pixel area around the pixel area are defined, an encapsulation layer disposed on the substrate, a light conversion layer including a light converter disposed on the encapsulation layer to overlap the pixel area, and a light guide layer disposed between the encapsulation layer and the light conversion layer to define a first cavity that overlaps the pixel area and a second cavity that overlaps the non-pixel area.

Display device and manufacturing method thereof

A display apparatus includes a display module which displays an image and a backlight unit disposed below the display module. The backlight unit includes a light source which generates light, a light guide member including a light incident surface which receives the light from the light source and an opposite surface facing the light incident surface in a first direction, and a light collection member which is disposed on the light guide member and receives the light from the light guide member to control a traveling direction of the light so that the light travels to the display module. The light collection member includes an upper light collection layer including upper light collection patterns, each of which has a curved top surface and a lower light collection layer including lower light collection patterns and an intermediate layer which covers the lower light collection patterns.
