The present invention relates to a gas heat pump system. The gas heat pump system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an air conditioning module comprising a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion apparatus, an indoor heat exchanger and a refrigerant line; and an engine module comprising an engine for combusting a mixture of fuel and air, thereby providing power for driving the compressor. The engine module comprises: a mixer for mixing and discharging the air and fuel; a supercharging means for receiving the mixture discharged from the mixer, compressing same, and then discharging same; an intercooler for receiving the mixture compressed in the supercharging means, cooling same by a heat exchange method, increasing the density thereof, and then discharging same; an adjustment means for receiving the mixture discharged from the intercooler, adjusting the quantity thereof, and then supplying same to the engine; and an exhaust gas heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a coolant and exhaust gas discharged from the engine, wherein the exhaust gas heat exchanger is directly connected to an exhaust manifold of the engine.

Gas heat pump system

The present invention relates to a gas heat pump system. The gas heat pump system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an air conditioning module comprising a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion apparatus, an indoor heat exchanger and a refrigerant line; and an engine module comprising an engine for combusting a mixture of fuel and air, thereby providing power for driving the compressor. The engine module comprises: a mixer for mixing and discharging the air and fuel; a supercharging means for receiving the mixture discharged from the mixer, compressing same, and then discharging same; an intercooler for receiving the mixture compressed in the supercharging means, cooling same by a heat exchange method, increasing the density thereof, and then discharging same; an adjustment means for receiving the mixture discharged from the intercooler, adjusting the quantity thereof, and then supplying same to the engine; and an exhaust gas heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a coolant and exhaust gas discharged from the engine.

A gas heat pump system is disclosed. The gas heat pump system includes an air conditioning module including a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion device, an indoor heat exchanger and a refrigerant pipe, an engine module including an engine configured to burn a mixture of fuel and air and provide power for operation of the compressor, a cooling module including a cooling water pump configured to generate flow of cooling water for cooling the engine and a cooling water pipe connected to the cooling water pump to guide flow of cooling water. The engine module includes a mixer configured to discharge the mixture of air and fuel to the engine, a supercharger disposed between the mixer and the engine to compress the mixture discharged from the mixer and discharge the mixture to the engine, and an adjuster disposed between the supercharger and the engine to adjust an amount of compressed mixture supplied to the engine.

The present disclosure relates to an outdoor unit for an air conditioner. The present invention relates to an outdoor unit of a gas heat pump system. An outdoor unit of a gas heat pump system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a storage tank which is disposed at a suction side of a compressor and stores a refrigerant to be supplied to the compressor; and a heat exchanger for performing heat exchange of a refrigerant flowing through a refrigerant pipe or cooling water flowing through a cooling water pipe, wherein the heat exchanger is supported by the storage tank. Therefore, the outdoor unit does not require a separate frame structure for installing the heat exchanger.

Outdoor unit of gas heat pump system

An air conditioner and a method for controlling an air conditioner are provided. The air conditioner may include an EHP outdoor device configured to drive a first compressor using electric power, and having a first heat exchanger that evaporates or condenses a refrigerant; a GHP outdoor device having an engine configured to drive a second compressor using a burned gas and a second heat exchanger that evaporates or condenses the refrigerant; and a flow rate balancing device configured to connect the first heat exchanger with the second heat exchanger, and to control a flow rate of the refrigerant through the EHP outdoor device and the GHP outdoor device.

Air conditioner with oil level control for both gas and electric heat pump cycles

The air conditioner may include at least one indoor device, an electric heat pump (EHP) outdoor device connected with the at least one indoor device, and having a first compressor driven using electric power and a first outdoor heat exchanger, and a gas heat pump (GHP) outdoor device connected with the at least one indoor device, and having an engine that drives a second compressor using a combustion gas and a second outdoor heat exchanger. The GHP outdoor device may include an exhaust gas heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between a refrigerant flowing through the EHP outdoor device and an exhaust gas of the engine.

The air conditioner may include at least one indoor device; an electric heat pump (EHP) outdoor device connected to the at least one indoor device, configured to drive a first compressor using electric power, and having a first outdoor heat exchanger for heat exchange of a refrigerant; a gas heat pump (GHP) outdoor device connected to the at least one indoor device, and having an engine configured to drive a second compressor using a burned gas, a second outdoor heat exchanger for heat exchange of the refrigerant, and a waste heat exchanger configured to exchange heat with the refrigerant using waste heat of the engine; and a low pressure refrigerant common pipe configured to connect the first outdoor heat exchanger with the second outdoor heat exchanger and to supply a low pressure refrigerant of the GHP outdoor device to the EHP outdoor device.

The air conditioner may include at least one indoor device, an electric heat pump (EHP) outdoor device connected with the at least one indoor device, and having a first compressor driven using electric power and a first outdoor heat exchanger, and a gas heat pump (GHP) outdoor device connected with the at least one indoor device, and having an engine portion driven through a combustion gas, a second compressor driven by receiving a driving force from the engine portion, and a second outdoor heat exchanger. The GHP outdoor device may include an engine circulation pipe in which a refrigerant flowing through the EHP outdoor device may be introduced and then supplied to the engine portion.

An air conditioner and a method for controlling an air conditioner are provided. The air conditioner may include at least one indoor device, an electric heat pump (EHP) outdoor device connected to the at least one indoor device and having an EHP compressor driven using an applied current, and a gas heat pump (GHP) outdoor device connected to the at least one indoor device having an engine driven using a combustion of gas and a GHP compressor driven by receiving a driving force from the engine. The EHP compressor may include an inverter that controls a frequency of the current applied to the EHP compressor. The GHP compressor may include a first compressor that receives a driving force from the engine to compress a refrigerant; and a second compressor that is connected to the first compressor in parallel and receives the driving force from the engine to compress the refrigerant.
