A connector for an electronic device is disclosed. The connector includes a housing. The housing includes a leading surface. The leading surface forms a plug opening and a fulcrum spaced away from the plug opening. The connector includes an electronic plug extending through the plug opening away from the leading surface of the housing. The connector includes a pivot providing the electronic plug a range of angular adjustment relative to the leading surface of the housing. The connector includes a bias mechanism biasing the electronic plug to a default position within the range of angular adjustment.

Pivotable connector

A computing component is described. The computing component includes a cosmetic prefabricated sheet of material. In some embodiments, the cosmetic prefabricated sheet of material may have a cosmetic surface and a protrusion surface. The computing component includes a protrusion extending from the protrusion surface of the cosmetic prefabricated sheet of material. In some embodiments, the cosmetic surface of the cosmetic prefabricated sheet of material is uniform in appearance to the naked eye. In some embodiments, the protrusion may have a base and an end. The base may have a cross-sectional width and the end may have a cross-sectional width. A difference in the cross-sectional width of the base and the cross-sectional width of the end may be less than 250 microns.

A computing device is movable into an airplane mode. A spine on a hinge connects a display to a keyboard. The back surface of the keyboard includes keyboard magnetic material and the spine include spine magnetic material. The spine magnetic material is magnetically attracted to the keyboard. In the airplane mode, the spine is magnetically connected to the keyboard such that the display is secured relative to the keyboard.

The metal and plastic composite keyboards disclosed herein each include a two-part top bezel, which in turn includes a metallic first top bezel and a plastic second top bezel. The metallic first top bezel and a plastic second top bezel are attached to one another at respective overlapping regions and the two-part top bezel is attached to a bottom bezel to form a metal and plastic composite keyboard. The plastic second top bezel may include an electromagnetic window that reduces or eliminates interference on one or more antennas within a hingedly connected display, when the display is pivoted against the keyboard.

An example printable structure comprises a first fabric layer that includes a first side that is printable with water-based ink. The first fabric layer is permissive to migration of the water based ink through the first fabric layer. A first adhesive layer is bonded to a second side of the first fabric layer. An ink migration barrier is bonded to the first adhesive layer opposite the first fabric layer, a second adhesive layer is bonded to the ink migration barrier opposite the first adhesive layer, and a second fabric layer is bonded to the second adhesive layer opposite the ink migration barrier. The second fabric layer is permissive to migration of the water-based ink through the second fabric layer. The ink migration barrier is configured to provide resistance to ink bleed from the first fabric layer to the second fabric layer.
