A network sharing method is provided for a first electronic device, the first electronic device having a communication module that establishes a connection with at least one second electronic device through the communication module working in a second working mode. The first electronic device may receive access information of available access point from at least one second electronic device, where the access information is searched by the at least one second electronic device while maintaining the second communication with the first electronic device. The second communication connection with the at least one second electronic device may be disabled by the first communication module and the first communication module may be switched from the second working mode to first working mode. An embodiment may thereafter connect to the available access point through the communication module working in the first working mode such that the Internet is accessed through the available access point. An information processing method applied in an electric device is disclosed. The method comprises: acquiring at least one play parameter for characterizing a playing history of a first video from the network side and/or a storage unit of an electric device; generating and displaying a play progress bar corresponding to the first video on a display unit of the electric device based on the at least one play parameter, wherein the play progress bar has at least a first portion displayed in a first pattern and a second portion displayed in a second pattern different from the first pattern. Such solution provided by the invention provides a new display approach for the play progress bar, and addresses the technical problem that a video can only be segmented or prompted by the play progress bar of the video according to the content of the video. This new display method of the play progress bar does not depend on the content of the video itself and may reflect intuitively how much the user who once played a video is interested in different segments of the video.

Information processing method and electronic device thereof

A first terminal device and a video display control method are described. The first terminal device includes at least two tuners configured to receive and decode a video; a first display unit configured to display video or image; a first communication unit configured to communicate with a second terminal device; and a first processing unit configured to control the at least two tuners, the first display unit and the first communication unit. The first processing unit chooses one of the at least two tuners as a primary tuner, and displays a first video of the primary tuner on the first display unit, and the first processing unit sets the other tuner of the at least two tuners as slave tuner, and transmits a video of the slave tuner to the second terminal device through the first communication unit so as to be displayed by the second terminal device.
