An integrated microfluidic chip, wherein at least one integrated reaction unit is provided on its substrate, and the integrated reaction unit comprises at least a sample cell (), a mixing cell () and a reaction cell () connected through liquid channels (). In one aspect, one end of the sample cell () is provided with a sample inlet (), and the chip further comprises an internal air circulating system/circuit. One end of the internal air circulating system/circuit is connected with the mixing cell (), while the other end comprises at least a first circulation branch circuit connected with the end of the sample cell () distal to the sample inlet ().

Integrated microfluidic chip and methods of use

A microfluidic valve provided herein is configured to mix or capable of mixing a sample and/or a reagent in addition to controlling liquid flow. In one embodiment, the microfluidic valve comprises a rotor () and one or more micro-structures () that move with the rotation of the rotor (). In one embodiment, the one or more micro-structures () stir and/or mix content in a mixing chamber () formed by the rotor (), a base (), and a sleeve () of the microfluidic valve. A microfluidic chip or chip system comprising one or more of the microfluidic valves, and methods of use, are also provided.

Microfluidic valve and a chip or system comprising the microfluidic valve

A multi-index detection microfluidic chip is provided. A bottom plate () and a cover plate () that matches the bottom plate () and seals it are provided in the microfluidic chip. The center of the microfluidic chip has a through-hole (). The bottom plate () has one or more wave-shaped main channel(s) (), one end of each of the main channel () connected to a sample injection hole () on the bottom plate (), and the other end connected to an exhaust hole () on the bottom plate (). The valley on the main channel () is distal to the through-hole (), and the peak is proximal to the through-hole (). Each valley of the main channel () is connected to a reaction chamber () by a linking channel (). The linking channel () comprises one or more buffering chambers (). The microfluidic chip can be used in detection by fluorescence, turbidity, color, detection equipment, and/or direct observation by the naked eyes. The detection is real-time as the reaction occurs or after the reaction.

Multi-index detection microfluidic chip and methods of use

In one aspect, disclosed herein are methods for packaging biochips, including microfluidic chips. The method can comprise bonding a substrate and a cover slide, packaging the bonded chip, creating a vacuum in the package, and applying a pressure on the packaged chip. The method is particularly useful for minimizing bubble formation during low-cost and mass production of microfluidic chips.
