Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, configuration information indicating a set of component carriers (CCs) associated with the UE. The UE may receive, from the base station, a message that activates or deactivates one or more CCs of the set of CCs. The UE may communicate, with the base station, after receiving the message, using one or more activated CCs of the set of CCs over a tuned radio frequency (RF) bandwidth that is based on receiving the message and based on the one or more activated CCs. Optimized component carrier activation and deactivation

A method and system for resynchronizing an embedded multimedia system using bytes consumed in an audio decoder. The bytes consumed provides a mechanism to compensate for bit error handling and correction in a system that does not require re-transmission. The audio decoder keeps track of the bytes consumed and periodically reports the bytes consumed. A host microprocessor indexes the actual bytes consumed since bit errors may have been handled or corrected to a predetermined byte count to determine whether resynchronization is necessary.

Method and system for error robust audio playback time stamp reporting

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a system and method for improving performance of HARQ operation in a wireless communication system. The proposed method enables a receiver to update a receive buffer only if newly received values corresponding to a data packet are more reliable than previous values corresponding to the same data packet (that are stored in the receive buffer). The receiver may use the more reliable information (e.g., the newly received values or the previously stored values) for decoding.
