A UDP protocol acceleration system includes a client terminal, an acceleration server, and a source station. The client terminal includes a local proxy at the application layer and one or more local applications to be accelerated, and a network filter at the IP layer. The local proxy identifies redirection requests from different local applications among requests received and, for each redirection request, queries an original destination address, and encapsulates and sends the original destination address and the redirection request to the acceleration server. The acceleration server parses the original destination, acts as a proxy for the redirection request, and sends a response back to the local proxy. The local proxy, after receiving the response from the acceleration server, queries acceleration records, and forwards the response to a corresponding local application.

A method, apparatus, and system for implementing node port virtualization on a fiber channel in the field of communication technologies are provided. Multiple different virtual Node Port (N_port) identifications (IDs) are allocated to each of multiple N_ports, of an N_port virtualization (NPV) switch, corresponding to an N_port ID of a remote node. Because a virtual N_port ID is allocated, to each remote node, for more than one N_port of the NPV switch, regardless of which N_port of these N_ports a node connected to the NPV switch is registered for, the node can obtain the virtual N_port ID that is of each remote node and that is corresponding to the N_port. Therefore, any node connected to the NPV switch can communicate with any remote node, thereby improving communication efficiency.

The present invention provides a virtual machine migration method, a switch, a virtual machine system. A first pilot signal is transmitted at a first frequency for a first coverage area (e.g., an outdoor area). A second pilot signal is transmitted at a second frequency for a second coverage area (e.g., an indoor area). The first pilot signal at the second frequency is transmitted into a portion of the second coverage area, the second coverage area at least overlapping with the first coverage area. Further, the first pilot signal is transmitted at the second frequency in the second coverage area. In an example, the first pilot signal at the first frequency is transmitted from an outdoor base station, the second pilot signal at the second frequency is transmitted by an indoor base station, the first pilot signal at the second frequency is transmitted into the second coverage area (e.g., an interior of a building from a building exit point) by an antenna (e.g., not necessarily at a base station) and the second pilot signal at the first frequency is transmitted by the indoor base station. The pilot signal configuration discussed above may facilitate call handoffs between the first and second coverage areas. For example, if the first coverage area is an outdoor area and the second coverage area is a building interior, the example pilot signal configuration may reduce pilot pollution.
