A composite adsorbent for separating ethylbenzene from C8 arene by an adsorption distillation contains 1-50 mass % of a xylene adsorbent and 50-99 mass % of a carrier liquid. The carrier liquid is selected from one or two of alkane, aryl-substituted alkane, decalin and alkyl-substituted decalin. The alkane is C10-C26 alkane, and the aryl-substituted alkane is C13-C16 aryl-substituted alkane. The composite adsorbent can increase the volatility of ethylbenzene relative to other C8 arenes and thus can separate a high-purity ethylbenzene from C8 arene by the adsorption distillation.

Systems and methods are provided for improved point querying of a database. The index values are separated from data and retained in cache memory to allow access without requiring a disk input/output (I/O) operation and thereby having less latency resulting from such disk I/O operations. The index values can be compressed using an algorithm such as Crit-Bit-Trie to allow storage of the index values in limited cache memory space. The index values can be selected for storage according to a least recently used approach when cache memory is insufficient to store all index values to maintain a hit rate for the cached portion and reduce the disk I/O operations.

The present disclosure discloses a tripod for 3D modeling and a method for determining camera capture parameters, including the height and the direction of the camera lens. The tripod includes a telescopic rod, a mobile phone holder, a mounting support, and a floor stand. The telescopic rod is formed by multiple sections of nested hollow round rods, and the round rods can be extended and locked. The mobile phone holder is attached to the telescopic rod through a mobile phone holder install base. The mounting support is set on the top of the telescopic rod. The floor stand is set at the bottom of the telescopic rod. The telescopic rod is vertically set on a plane through the floor stand. There are three sets of the floor stand brackets that are evenly set around the telescopic rod. According to the present disclosure, contrasting colors are used at the bottom of the tripod where it touches the floor to help recognize these points. The height of the tripod can be accurately calculated by measuring the distance between these points in the image captured by the camera. The mobile phone holder is attached to the tripod, and a direction sensor of the mobile phone is used to record the direction during capture, so that the direction of camera capture can be obtained even when the camera does not have a direction sensor. The tripod features a simple structure, easy operation, low costs, and a compact storage which is easy to carry.

By combining an extractive distillation with a liquid-liquid extraction ingeniously, the method can achieve the separation of aromatic hydrocarbons with a high purity and a high recovery rate, and a significant decrease of the energy consumption in the extraction and separation process.

The rich solvent is then introduced into the middle of the solvent recovery column for vacuum distillation to obtain a crude styrene from the top of the solvent recovery column, and a lean solvent is discharged from the bottom of the solvent recovery column and recycled to the upper part of the extractive distillation column. A portion of the rich solvent is sent to a solvent purification zone for a liquid-liquid extraction using water to obtain a mixture of a styrene polymer and styrene.
