A magnetic assembly includes a magnetic core, a circuit board and multiple conductive elements. The circuit board includes multiple conductive regions. The conductive elements stride over the magnetic core. Each of the conductive elements includes a first terminal, a second terminal and a connecting part. The connecting part is arranged between the first terminal and the second terminal for connecting the first terminal with the second terminal. The first terminal and the second terminal of each conductive element are respectively connected to two adjacent conductive regions. The multiple conductive elements and the multiple conductive regions collectively define multiple loops. The multiple loops interact with the magnetic core to generate inductance.

Magnetic assembly and fabricating method thereof

An automatic anti-trap device is provided to add safety to other apparatuses. The automatic anti-trap device of this invention has a driving circuit to control a motor, a current sensor to generate a current signal, a current ripple peak value circuit to generate a current ripple peak value signal according to the current signal, and a micro processor to generate a working signal for the driving circuit to control the motor according to a keystroke signal, the current signal and the current ripple peak value signal.

Automatic anti-trap device

An ignition coil. The ignition coil includes a casing, a bobbin, and a core. The bobbin includes a body, a primary coil surrounding the body, a secondary coil surrounding the body, a plurality of first terminals embedded in the body, and two secondary coils embedded in the body. The bobbin is disposed inside the casing. The primary coil is connected to the second terminal, and the secondary coil is connected to the first terminal. Each first terminal is abutted by the body and the casing respectively so that each first terminal is maintained in a predetermined position on the body. The core is disposed inside the bobbin.

Ignition coil

An inverter transformer and a core structure thereof are described. The core structure of the inverter transformer has a first core and a second core. The first core has a plurality of fork elements, a connection element, and a bottom element. The fork elements are parallel with each other and connect with the connection element. The connection element further connects with the bottom element, and therefore the bottom element and the fork elements are configured at respective sides of the connection element. The second core has a plurality of fork position openings and a bottom opening. The fork position openings correspond one-to-one with the fork elements and the bottom opening corresponds to the bottom element. The second core further includes a bottom indentation and a plurality of fork position indentations to form gaps and lock a primary coil module and secondary coil modules.

Inverter transformer and core structure thereof

The present invention discloses a base for transforming an inductor consisting of a core and a coil having two terminals into a surface mounted device. The present invention includes an insulating element, a substantially Z-shaped first conductive element and a substantially Z-shaped second conductive element. The first conductive element and the second conductive element further include a strip of first stem and a strip of second stem, respectively. The insulating element partially exposes lower surfaces of the first and second conductive elements and the first and second stems. The remaining portions of the first and second conductive elements are embedded in the insulating element. A terminal of the first conductive element extends toward the second conductive element and crosses a virtual cross-sectional line. Each of the terminals of the coil is wound around the respective recessed edge of the stems.

Chassis of surface mounted inductor

A coil module applied in a transformer. The coil module includes at least one conductive wire and an insulating encapsulator. A portion of the conductive wire is wound into coils of a certain loop number. The coils are encapsulated by the insulating encapsulator. A metal core is provided when manufacturing a transformer. Desired coil modules are selected and installed onto the transformer so as to surround the metal core of the transformer. The coil modules are thus connected in series or in parallel for forming a desired specification of the transformer.

Transformers using coil modules and related manufacturing method thereof

An ignition coil is provided. The ignition coil comprises a casing, a plurality of pins and a bobbin. The pins are disposed inside the casing. The bobbin, having a plurality of first terminals corresponding to the pins respectively, is disposed inside the casing. Each of the first terminals is provided with a ring-shaped portion in contact with the corresponding pin. Hence, resin, filled in the ignition coil, is prevented from leaking out of the casing.

A transformer with good insulation is disclosed. The transformer includes a bobbin, an insulating shell and a core structure. The bobbin is wound with a secondary winding. The insulating shell encloses the bobbin and the insulating shell is wound with a primary winding. Further, the core structure is magnetically coupled to the primary winding and the secondary winding.

Transformer with improved insulation

A support is used to modify an inductive device to a surface mounting device. The inductive device is provided with a core and a coil, and the support includes an electric portion and an isolation portion. The electric portion, having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, is electrically coupled to the coil. The first surface of the electric portion is in contact with the core. The isolation portion is disposed on the second surface of the electric portion in a manner such that the isolation portion covers one part of the second surface of the electric portion. The isolation portion is flush with the other part of the second surface of the electric portion.

Surface mounting device and its used support

A wire-winding structure and method are applied to a transformer to improve transformer power. The wire-winding method includes the following steps. A bobbin which includes a plurality of pins and a plurality of slots on the external surface is provided. A wire is wound from a first pin and successively wound on the rest of the plurality of slots, but not on a slot adjacent to a predetermined connection portion between iron core structures of the transformer. The wire is soldered to a second pin and the bobbin with the winding wire is combined with the iron core structures to constitute the transformer.

Wire-winding structure and method for a transformer

An embedded transformer embedded in a board is disclosed. The embedded transformer includes a board, a first insulating sheet, a preformed coil, a second insulating sheet, a first core and a second core. Among these, the board includes a conductive pattern formed on an upper surface of the board. A part of said conductive pattern serves as a primary coil of the embedded transformer. The first insulating sheet is formed on the conductive pattern. The preformed coil is formed on the first insulating sheet. The second insulating sheet is formed on the preformed coil. The first core is formed on the second insulating sheet and partially embedded in the board. The second core formed on a lower surface of the board is partially embedded in the board so as to be couple to the first core.

Embedded transformer

The transformer bobbin of the present invention includes a tubular body, a first partition wall, at least one second partition wall, at least one third partition wall and pins. The first partition wall is formed on the surface of the tubular body. The first partition wall includes a first flange having a thinner section for providing winding of a wire. The first partition wall separates a primary side from a secondary side. The second partition wall, parallel to the first partition wall, is formed on the surface of the tubular body. The second partition wall includes a second breach and a second flange having a second cut corner formed thereon. The third partition wall, interposed between the adjacent second partition walls, includes a third breach and a third flange having a third cut corner formed thereon. There is a horizontal height difference exists between the second cut corner and the third cut corner.

Transformer bobbin

A bobbin for a transformer is provided. The bobbin comprises a body, a first partition wall, a second partition wall, at least one third partition wall, and two first pins. The first partition wall, having a first protrusion, is formed on the body. The body is divided into a primary side and a secondary side by the first partition wall. The second partition wall, having a second protrusion with a thinner section, is formed on the secondary side of the body. The third partition wall, having a third protrusion with a notch, is formed on the secondary side of the body so that the third partition wall is close to the second partition wall and away from the first partition wall. The first pins are disposed on the secondary side of the body in a substantially U-shape.

Bobbin for a transformer

Disclosed is an inductor without a gap spacer. The inductor includes a bobbin having at least one round of wire wound thereon to serve as a coil of the inductor, a first magnetic member coupled with the bobbin, and a second magnetic member having a first end and a second end, wherein the second magnetic member is inserted into the bobbin from the second end thereof and the first end has a protrusion for allowing the second magnetic member to be partially inserted into the bobbin, thereby forming a gap between these two magnetic members.

Inductor

Disclosed is a method for adjusting the inductance of an inductor at least including a bobbin, a first magnetic member having a concavity on a side wall thereof, and a second magnetic member having a protrusion at a first end thereof for preventing the second magnetic member from being completely inserted into the bobbin so as to form a gap between the first and second magnetic members. The method includes the steps of selecting a reference piece with a suitable thickness to be disposed between the protrusion of the second magnetic member and the side wall of the first magnetic member with the concavity and closely attached to both of them t as said second magnetic member is inserted into said bobbin, and partially removing the second magnetic member from a second end thereof according to the thickness of the reference piece so as to obtain a predetermined inductance value. This method further includes a step of determining whether the inductance of the inductor is identical to the predetermined inductance value after the reference piece is disposed between the protrusion of the second magnetic member and the side wall of the first magnetic member with the concavity and the second magnetic member is partially inserted into the bobbin. If the inductance of the inductor is not identical to the predetermined inductance value the thickness of the reference piece can be changed to repeat the above-described steps until the predetermined inductance value is obtained.
