A circulation member positioning structure for a ball screw includes a nut and a circulation member. The nut has a threaded channel, a socket, and a positioning notch. The socket is provided on a wall of the threaded channel and the positioning notch is provided on a wall of socket. The circulation member has a circulation portion, a circulation track, and a positioning protrusion. The circulation portion is provided in the socket of the nut. The circulation track is distributed over one lateral of the circulation portion and connects with the threaded channel of the nut. The positioning protrusion is provided on an opposite lateral of the circulation portion for being engaged with the positioning notch of the nut. Thereby, the circulation member positioning structure helps to simplify the assembling work of the circulation member and to remain the nut small despite the insertion of the circulation member.

An external circulation ball screw includes an elongate shaft having has an outer circumferential surface formed with a helical rolling groove; a nut having a through hole formed therein for receiving extension of the elongate shaft therethrough, the through hole having an inner circumferential surface formed with a rolling channel corresponding to the rolling groove, the rolling groove and the rolling channel collectively defining a loading passage, the nut having an outer surface, which includes, formed therein, two through apertures that are spaced from each other and in communication with the through hole and a cavity in communication with the two through apertures; rolling elements arranged in the loading passage and having a diameter between 0.3-1 mm; and a circulator having a U-shape and is arranged in the cavity and the through apertures and formed with a return passage connected to the loading passage to collectively define a circulation channel.

External circulation ball screw

The invention provides an external circulation type ball screw device comprising screw shaft and nut having first and second screw grooves. A circulation member comprises first leg, second leg and connection portion. The first leg comprises a first end surface having first inner and outer points, and the second leg comprises a second end surface having second inner and outer points; first and second entrances formed on the first and second end surfaces of circulation passage; first and second thickness respectively provided between the first entrance and the first inner and outer points thereof; the second thickness being greater than the first; the third and fourth thickness respectively provided between the second entrance and the second inner and outer points thereof; the fourth thickness being greater than the third. The groove wall of the second screw groove occupied and the occurrence of broken teeth of the nut are reduced.

External circulation type ball screw device

A circulating element for ball screw includes a first surface defining a circulating passage that extends from one lateral side of the first surface to the other lateral side of the first surface and has a coupling mouth located on each of the two opposite ends thereof, and a second surface defining a coupling groove between the two coupling mouths of the circulating passage and two guide blocks respectively protruding out of the coupling mouths of the circulating passage. Thus, the circulating element has the advantages of low processing cost, ease of installation, high alignment accuracy, and excellent running smoothness.

A lubricating device with heating function is provided with a heat conduction member between the lubricating device and the movable member, the heat conduction member absorbs the heat generated by the motion of movable member and transmits the heat to the oil tank, so as to reduce the viscosity of the lubrication stored in the oil tank, and consequently, the heated and reduced-in-viscosity lubrication can easily be absorbed by the oil guiding member by capillary action. When the movable member stops moving, the temperature of the lubrication returns to normal and no capillary action will occur, therefore, the lubricating device is capable of controlling start and stop of the action of lubrication transmission by itself without using any other control device, and thus preventing lubrication leakage.

Lubricating device with heating function

A ball screw comprises a screw, a nut, two return assemblies and a rolling assembly. The two return assemblies are disposed in two ends of the nut, and each of the return assemblies is defined with a return passage provided with two guiding grooves at two sides thereof for guiding the linking portions of the rolling assembly. The guiding grooves twist an angle of about 90 degrees within the return portion of each of the return assemblies to prevent the linking portions from being stretched or extruded improperly to reduce the deformation to the lowest, thus effectively extending the service life of the rolling assembly.

Return structure for a ball screw with a chain type rolling assembly

A component for linear guideway and method for making the same, wherein the component is an end cap or a bolt cover which is made by bulk molding compound which is injected into a mold and formed into the desired shape by thermal setting. The component can be an assembly made up of a plurality of members, namely, an inserting member which is provided for passage of rolling elements can be formed simultaneously when the component is molded by plastic injection molding. The inserting member is formed by: injecting metal powder into a first mold and forming into an inserting member with acceptable rigidity and precision; putting the inserting member into a second mold and bulk molding compound; then the die material is formed into the desired component by thermal setting directly on the inserting member.

A motion transmission apparatus with a chain, wherein the chain comprises a plurality of spacers and links for connecting the spacers together, each of the spacers is provided at both sides thereof in an axial direction of an elongated shaft with a plurality of holding protrusions and inclined at an angle from a center of each of the spacers toward a peripheral edge thereof in such a manner that a distance between outer ends of two opposite holding surfaces on two neighboring spacers is smaller than a diameter of the rolling elements, the holding protrusions of the chain are annularly arranged in 120 degree intervals in such a manner that the holding protrusions on the same side of each spacer are alternatively arranged in a direction which is vertical to the links, and two of the holding protrusions are arranged in a line parallel to a direction of the links.

Motion transmission apparatus with a chain

A rolling element retainer is provided with two through rolling element retaining spaces. Each of the rolling elements retaining spaces is provided for accommodation of one rolling element. The rolling element retainer is provided with a linking portion at each of two opposite sides thereof. The rolling element retainer is further provided with a rolling element rolling channel in each of two external end surfaces thereof. The angular difference between the respective rolling element rolling channels and the respective linking portions is 0 degree or 90 degrees. By such arrangements, the rolling channels at two ends of the rolling element retainer are provided for contact with the rolling elements therebetween, so as to guide the movement of such rolling elements.

A motion guide device includes a ball nut attached onto a shaft and having helical grooves for receiving ball bearing elements, a tubular member is engaged with the ball nut and includes a ball circulating pathway communicative with the helical groove of the ball nut, and includes an intermediate segment, two curved segments, and two end coupling segments each having a ball guiding channel which includes a wider inner section for guiding and circulating the flexible coupling member of a ball coupler to smoothly move through the ball guiding channel of each end coupling segment and for preventing the flexible coupling member from being twisted. The tubular member is preferably formed by two half members.
