Apparatuses, systems, and methods identify, among a plurality of DSL lines, a subgroup of DSL lines based on one or more common characteristics and use the common characteristic(s) to identify a set of power control parameters that enable an upstream rate for the subgroup of DSL lines that is different than an upstream rate for DSL lines in the plurality of DSL lines that do not include the subgroup of DSL lines before applying the set of power control parameters to the subgroup of DSL lines to achieve the upstream rate.

Methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing upstream power control for DSL

Methods, systems, and devices for data retention handling are described. In some data storage systems, data objects are stored in a non-relational database schema. The system may support configurable data retention policies for different tenants, users, or applications. For example, a data store may receive retention requests, where the retention requests may specify deletion or exportation actions to perform on records contained within data objects. The data store may determine retention rules based on these retention requests, and may periodically or aperiodically evaluate the rules to determine active actions to perform. To improve the efficiency of the system, the data store may aggregate the active actions (e.g., according to the dataset to perform the actions on), and may generate work items corresponding to the aggregate actions. A work processor may retrieve these work items and may efficiently perform the data retention actions on datasets stored in the data object store.

Data retention handling for data object stores

Apparatuses, systems, and methods assign to a first group of DSL lines a first set of loop lengths and a second set of loop lengths to a second group of DSL lines. A first set of power control parameters is identified for the first group of DSL lines to enable a first upstream rate, subject to a given set of criteria for the second group of DSL lines or subject to a second set of power control parameters for the second group of DSL lines. The first and second sets of power control parameters may then be applied to their respective groups of DSL lines, e.g., to implement upstream power control.

Methods systems, and apparatuses for implementing upstream power control for DSL

Methods, systems, and devices for data access and processing are described. To set up secure environments for data processing (e.g., including machine learning), an access control system may first receive approval from an authorized user (e.g., an approver) granting access to data objects in a multi-tenant data store. The system may determine tenant-specific paths for retrieving the data objects from the data store, and may initialize a number of virtual computing engines for accessing the data. Each computing engine may be tenant-specific based on the path(s) used by that computing engine, and each may include an access role defining the data objects or data object types accessible by that computing engine. By accessing the requested data objects according to the tenant-specific path prefixes and access roles, the virtual computing engines may securely maintain separate environments for different tenants and may only allow user access to approved tenant data.

Securely accessing and processing data in a multi-tenant data store

In accordance with embodiments disclosed herein, there are provided apparatuses, systems and methods for implementing upstream power control for DSL communications. For example, such a system may include means for: dividing a plurality of DSL lines into a first group of DSL lines and a second group of DSL lines based on characteristics common to each of the DSL lines within the respective first and second groups; determining attainable upstream data rates for the first and second groups of DSL lines according to the characteristics of each group; selecting upstream power control parameters to apply to each of the first and second groups of DSL lines based on the attainable upstream data rates determined; and instructing the DSL lines of the first and second groups to adopt the selected upstream power control parameters. Other related embodiments are disclosed.

In accordance with embodiments disclosed herein, there are provided apparatus, systems and methods for implementing DSL line fault determination and localization via SELT, DELT, and MELT diagnostics. For example, such a system or computer implemented method may include means for: receiving Metallic Loop/Line Testing (MELT) test output from applying a MELT test to a DSL line; receiving Dual-End Line Testing (DELT) test output from applying a DELT test to the DSL line; receiving Single-Ended Loop Testing (SELT) test output from applying a SELT test to the DSL line; determining one or more faults are present on the DSL line by comparing the MELT test output, the DELT test output, and the SELT test output; and localizing the one or more determined faults by comparing the MELT test output, the DELT test output, and the SELT test output. Other related embodiments are disclosed.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing DSL line fault determination and localization via selt, delt, and melt diagnostics

The techniques and components described herein may improve the performance for a class of reduced-complexity receiver designs for coded OFDM MIMO systems with bit interleaved coded modulation. The receiver structures described are soft-input soft-output inner/outer decoder receiver structures that include one or more of the following: 1) an inner decoder that includes a linear front-end followed by a limited tree-search based on a soft-output M-algorithm; 2) a conventional near-optimal or optimal decoder for the outer binary code; and 3) iterative decoding (ID), whereby decoding (output) information is passed from one decoder module as input to the other and used to refine and improve the inner/outer decoding module outputs.
