An energy management system includes a power supply module, a charging module, an interface module and an energy management module. The power supply module provides an input power. The charging module generates, based on the input power, a first charge power and a second charge power in response to a first charge control signal and a second charge control signal. The interface module detects electrical energy stored in an energy storage device to generate a detection result. In response to the detection result, the energy management module determines an operating state of the energy storage device, and generates one of the first and second charge control signals.

Energy management system

A multiple winding transformer includes a core unit, a first winding set which has N (N&#x2265;3) number of windings, and a second winding set which has at least one winding. The windings of the first winding set are overlappingly wound around the core unit. Each of the windings includes an input terminal and an output terminal. The input terminal of one of the windings is spaced apart from the input terminal of a next one of the windings by (360/N) degrees, and the input terminals are interconnected to form an input end. The output terminal of one of the windings is spaced apart from the output terminal of a next one of the windings by (360/N) degrees, and the output terminals are interconnected to form an output end.

Multiple winding transformer

A resonant converting apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The resonant converting apparatus includes a resonant converting circuit, a load detector, a control signal generator and a pulse frequency modulation (PFM) signal generator. The resonant converting circuit converts an input voltage into an output voltage to drive a load according to a PFM signal. The load detector detects a load status of the load. The control signal generator generates the control signal according to the load status and a PFM range. When the load status is a light load status, the control signal is divided into a plurality of first time periods and second time periods which are respectively arranged alternatively. The PFM signal is maintained to a reference voltage during the second time periods, and is a periodical signal having frequency substantially equal to a resonant frequency during the first time periods.

Resonant converting apparatus and control method thereof

A power supply apparatus includes a switch, a converting module and a control module. When the switch operates in an ON state, an input voltage is outputted through the switch to serve as an output voltage. The converting module selectively converts the input voltage into the output voltage. When the power supply apparatus operates in a mode where the switch operates in an OFF state, where the converting module performs the conversion, and where the output voltage is stabilized at a target voltage value, and when a condition associated with the input voltage is met, the control module causes the output voltage to gradually change toward the input voltage.
