A kinetic energy recovery system with flywheel includes a cascade flywheel doubly-fed electric machine and an electric motor. The cascade flywheel doubly-fed electric machine has a stator end coil, a rotor end coil and a flywheel. The flywheel can store kinetic energy by increasing speed or releasing kinetic energy by decreasing speed. A control circuit has an inverter, a rectifier and a DC bus connecting the inverter and the rectifier. The inverter supplies alternating current to the rotor end coil. The rectifier has an AC end connected to the stator end coil through an AC bus. The rectifier converts alternating current to direct current, so that the inverter can draw power from the DC bus. The electric motor has a phase coil connected to the AC bus. When the cascade flywheel double-fed electric machine decelerates, the system converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.

Kinetic energy recovery system with flywheel

An electric power-regulating system includes an electric-load end, a power-supply end, a power regulator, a DC-bus device, a flywheel energy-storage device, a switch device and a controller. The flywheel energy-storage device connects the DC-bus device. The switch device is connected between the flywheel energy-storage device and the DC-bus device. The switch device provides at least one current-flow direction between the DC-bus device and the flywheel energy-storage device. The controller controls the power regulator and the flywheel energy-storage device. When a voltage of the DC-bus device exceeds a operation range, the controller selectively limits the current-flow direction of the switch device. Further, when a voltage-bias direction of the switch device and the current-flow direction are the same, the controller allows a current of the DC-bus device to flow into or out of the flywheel energy-storage device in the current-flow direction. In addition, an electric power-regulating method is also provided.

Electric power-regulating system and method thereof

A kinetic energy recovery system with flywheel includes a flywheel doubly-fed electric machine, an electric motor, a drive circuit and a controller. The flywheel doubly-fed electric machine has a primary side coil and a secondary side coil. The electric motor has a phase coil connected in series with the primary side coil. The drive circuit has an AC/DC circuit and a DC/AC circuit, wherein the AC end of the AC/DC circuit is coupled to the primary side coil; the AC end of the DC/AC circuit is coupled to the secondary side coil. The controller is configured to manipulate a frequency and a phase of output voltage and output current of the secondary side coil, thereby controlling the frequency and phase of a voltage and a current output from the primary side coil, thereby recovering a kinetic energy of the electric motor or providing the kinetic energy to the electric motor.

The disclosure relates to a flywheel energy storage system including a casing, shaft, flywheel, and electric motor assembly. The casing has an inner vacuum chamber, at least one outer accommodating slot and at least one separator which separates the inner vacuum chamber from the at least one outer accommodating slot. The shaft is rotatably disposed in the inner vacuum chamber. The flywheel is located in the inner vacuum chamber and fixed to the shaft. The electric motor assembly includes a first motor rotor and a motor stator. The motor stator is accommodated in the at least one outer accommodating slot and fixed to the at least one separator. The first motor rotor is fixed on the shaft and located between the shaft and the motor stator. Part of the at least one separator located between the first motor rotor and the motor stator includes magnetically permeable material.

Flywheel energy storage system

A hybrid dual-rotor motor structure is provided, which may include a stator, a first rotor, a second rotor, a first coil, and a second coil. The stator may include a plurality of stator teeth. The first rotor, the second rotor, and the stator may arranged in the radial direction of the hybrid dual-rotor motor structure. The first coil may be wound on the stator teeth. The second coil may be wound on the stator teeth; the second coil may include a plurality of sub-coil sets; each of the sub-coil sets may include a plurality of sub-coils connected to each other/one another in series or in parallel; the pole-pair number of the second coil may be the integral multiple of the pole-pair number of the first coil.

Hybrid dual-rotor structure

A sun-chasing device is provided, including a base, a first transmitter disposed on the base, a second transmitter, a support, a carrier pivotally connected to the support for carrying a solar module, a first supporting component pivotally connected to the first transmitter and the carrier, and a second supporting component pivotally connected to the second transmitter and the carrier. The sun-chasing device has great rigidity and carrying ability against strong wind, and has great precision and rotation angle, such that a solar plate can precisely aim at sun for long time and thus the efficiency of a solar module is significantly increased.

Sun-chasing device

A power circuit is applicable to a Direct Current (DC) to DC converter. The power circuit includes a gate driver circuit and a High Electron Mobility Transistor (HEMT). The gate driver circuit functions as a Sigmoid (S) function and controls a gate and a source of the HEMT with a cross voltage of the sigmoid (S) type function. Accordingly, an overall characteristic curve of the HEMT and the gate driver circuit is like a characteristic curve of a single rectifier diode, so as to achieve a rectifying, freewheeling, or reversing effect. In addition, since an energy loss is low when the HEMT is conducted, the energy loss of the whole power circuit is much less than that of a conventional diode.

Power circuit and direct current to direct current converter thereof

A magnetic transmission assembly is adapted to integration with a motor or generator. The magnetic transmission assembly includes a rotor, a stator, and a magnetically conductive element. The rotor and the stator are sleeved coaxially and respectively have R and ST1 pole pairs. The magnetically conductive element is located between the rotor and the stator, and has permeable regions. When the magnetically conductive element is actuated, the magnetically conductive element selectively enables PN1 or PN2 permeable regions to be corresponding to the rotor and the stator. The permeable regions corresponding to the rotor and the stator interact with magnetic fields of the R and ST1 pole pairs to generate a predetermined variable-speed ratio. The magnetic transmission assembly can be integrated into the motor, so as to improve the drive power density.

Magnetic transmission assembly

A magnetic transmission assembly is adapted to integration with a motor or generator. The magnetic transmission assembly includes a rotor, a stator, and a magnetically conductive element. The rotor and the stator are sleeved coaxially and respectively have R and ST1 pole pairs. The magnetically conductive element is located between the rotor and the stator, and has steel pieces. When the magnetically conductive element is actuated, the magnetically conductive element selectively enables PN1 or PN2 steel pieces to be corresponding to the rotor and the stator. The steel pieces corresponding to the rotor and the stator interact with magnetic fields of the R and ST1 pole pairs to generate a predetermined variable-speed ratio. The magnetic transmission assembly can be integrated into the motor, so as to improve the drive power density.

An optical pickup head and an electromagnetic actuating device thereof are provided. The electromagnetic actuating device is used to move an objective lens carrier having an objective lens assembly to form an optical pickup head. The electromagnetic actuating device includes at least a magnet, at least a coil, and at least a yoke. The magnet is spaced apart from the objective lens carrier by a distance, and the coil is disposed at the objective lens carrier, for generating an electromagnetic force to interact with the magnet. The yoke is spaced apart from the objective lens carrier by a distance, in which the yoke has a protruding part that extends towards the objective lens carrier and is used to attract magnetic flux lines produced by the magnet, and thus making the magnetic flux that passes through the coil be distributed evenly.
