A portable electronic device including a main body having one end concavely provided with a receiving groove, a pivot pin provided in the receiving groove, a pivot seat pivotally connected to the pivot pin, a transmission line having one end electrically connected to a circuit board provided in the main body and the other end extending into the receiving groove, and a plug having one end embedded in the pivot seat. Since the pivot pin has a hollow configuration, the other end of the transmission line is able to pass through the pivot pin and be electrically connected to the plug, allowing the plug to be rotated and received in the receiving groove when the portable electronic device is not in use and preventing the transmission line from being pulled or curled due to rotation of the plug.

A supporting base includes a base, a first supporting arm and a second supporting arm, wherein the supporting arms are installed on a surface of the base, and an object is clamped and mounted between the supporting arms, and a first gap is maintained at a portion of the connecting edge between the first supporting arm and the base, and a second gap corresponding to the first gap is maintained at a portion of the connecting edge between the second supporting arm and the base, so that the gaps can be used for appropriately reducing the strength between the supporting arms and the base and skillfully controlling the coefficient of friction between the supporting arms and the object, so as to securely install the object onto the supporting base without damaging the appearance or surface of the object.

The present invention is to provide a housing structure of an electronic device, which comprises a housing including a slot on a top surface; a plate member mounted in the slot and including a plurality of first ventilation holes formed along a periphery, the first ventilation holes being in communication with inside of the housing; and a cap mounted on the plate member and spaced from the top surface of the housing by a peripheral gap formed between the cap and the plate member; wherein the first ventilation holes are concealed by the cap. By utilizing the present invention, hot air inside the housing can be quickly removed via the first ventilation holes and the gap so as to achieve the purpose of heat dissipation, and the housing's appearance can be preserved since the first ventilation holes are concealed by the cap.

The present invention is to provide an external box comprising a panel, a housing, a seat, and a body, wherein the panel is secured to a rear of the housing, the seat is secured to a front of the housing, and the body is secured to the seat. The housing contains at least one mass storage device each adapted to connect to a corresponding port mounted on the seat. The body comprises at least one pivotal release mechanism each lined up with the mass storage device. The release mechanism is adapted to pivot to pass a channel of the seat to push the mass storage device in the housing further away from of a rear of the body for detaching the mass storage device from the external box by utilizing the principles of lever. By utilizing this external box, the purpose of quickly easily removing the mass storage device is achieved.

The present invention is to provide an external box for containing one or more HDDs, which comprises a housing; an abutment plate fitted on a front surface of the housing and including at least one slit and at least one first positioning member both on either side; and a panel including at least one latch and at least one second positioning member both on either side. The latches are adapted to insert into the slits and the second positioning members are adapted to securely engage with the first positioning members so as to secure the panel onto the front surface of the housing from a first direction without involving any tools. Alternatively, a user can detach the panel from the housing from a second opposite direction also without involving any tools.

External box for hard disk drives

The present invention discloses a foldable base with a main body comprising a long groove, a latching section, a latched section and an insert slot; wherein the main body can be folded along the long groove to connect the latching section with the latched section to define a three-dimensional shape or unfolded to separate the latching section and the latched section and then spread the main body open along the long groove to define a sheet. The insert slot is coupled to a fixed base being coupled to a main system such as a personal computer (PC) or a personal digital assistant (PDA) by a transmission line, enabling a user to insert an electronic device such as a flash drive or a MP3 player through the insert slot into the fixed base.

The present invention is to provide an electronic device for outdoor use, includes a housing and at least one fastening member. The housing includes at least one groove on one outer surface thereof. Each fastening member includes at least one protrusion projected from one side thereof. The protrusion is adapted to neatly insert into the groove for securing the fastening member to the electronic device. The other side of the fastening member is extended beyond the housing such that one outer surface of the housing with the groove formed thereon is adapted to mount on and dispose parallel to a wall when the other side of the fastening member is secured onto the wall.

A cable fixing structure on a flat panel is to have an elliptical through hole on the flat panel of an electronic device enclosure, a protruding joint board is on the end of the connector of a cable, an upper and lower panel wedge each is near the top and lower portion of the elliptical through hole, wherein the shape and physical size of the joint board is equal to the elliptical through hole, the joint board is in parallel with the end of the connector, an upper and a lower joint wedges corresponding to the panel wedges are on the inner edge of the joint board. While installing the connector onto the panel, the joint board passes through the elliptical through hole enabling the upper and lower joint wedges to reach the upper and lower panel wedges by turning the connector. Thus, the connector of the cable is easily and rapidly fixed to the flat panel.
