A fan control system. The fan control system has a programmable microcontroller to receive an input signal and a rotation speed signal corresponding to the actual rotation speed of the fan motor, determining an output signal according to the input signal and the rotation speed signal, and outputting the output signal; and a fan-driving unit to receive the output signal and adjusting the rotation speed for driving the fan motor according to the output signal. The rotation speed is in a relation of a multi-stage function to the input signal.

Fan control system using a microcontroller

A motor control apparatus and a motor control method determine whether the motor is in a back-pressure area so as to provide different rotation-speed control signals. When the fan is in the low duty cycle, a first circuit loop is switched on, so that the fan has more accurate rotation speed. When the fan is in the high duty cycle, a second circuit loop is switched on, so that the rotation speed of fan does not be limited to a constant rotation-speed as the fan enters the back-pressure area. Thus, the fan has larger airflow quantity and higher airflow pressure.

Motor control method

A motor control apparatus includes a sensing module, a phase modulating module, a duty cycle modulating module and a driving module. The sensing module detects a motor to generate a sensing signal. The phase modulating module receives the sensing signal and generates a phase modulation signal in accordance with the sensing signal. The duty cycle modulating module receives the phase modulation signal and generates a duty cycle modulation signal in accordance with the phase modulation signal. The driving module receives the duty cycle modulation signal and generates a motor control signal for controlling the motor in accordance with the duty cycle modulation signal.

A fan system is electrically connected with a driving source generator and includes a first fan, a second fan and an energy storage element. The second fan is rotated by the first fan for generating an electric energy. The energy storage element is electrically connected with the second fan for storing the electric energy and keep supplying power when the driving source generator is out of order or the fan is rotating in lower rotation speed.

Fan system

A motor controlling method and apparatus thereof are provided. The control method includes the steps of receiving a switching phase signal of coil while the motor is rotating, for generating a separate signal, comparing the phase signal and the separate signal to generate a first control signal, generating a current feedback signal equivalent to the first control signal, and comparing the current feedback signal and the separate signal for generating a second control signal so as to control the operation of the motor.

Motor control method and apparatus thereof

A motor control device includes a sensing circuit, a phase-shifting circuit, a comparing circuit and a control circuit. The sensing circuit senses the motor to generate a sensing signal. The phase-shifting circuit is electrically connected to the sensing circuit and receives the sensing signal to generate a phase-shifting signal. The comparing circuit is electrically connected to the phase-shifting circuit and receives the phase-shifting signal to generate a comparing signal. The control circuit is electrically connected with the comparing circuit and the motor, and receives the comparing signal to generate a control signal so as to control the rotation speed of the motor.

Motor control device

A protecting device of a fan system includes at least one first switch element and at least one control unit. The first switch element receives a first input signal. The control unit is electrically connected with the first switch element, receives the first input signal, and controls the first switch element to turn on or turn off according to the first input signal. The control unit stops outputting the first input signal when the first switch element turns on. The control unit outputs the first input signal when the first switch element turns off, so that a fan of the fan system can be driven by the first input signal.

Fan system and protecting device thereof

A fan control device receives a target revolution signal to control a rotation speed of a fan. The device includes a temperature measuring module, a revolution modulating module and a driving module. The temperature measuring module generates a temperature value according to an ambient temperature of the fan. The revolution modulating module is electrically connected with the temperature measuring module, receives the temperature value, and generates a control signal according to the temperature value and the target revolution signal. The driving module is electrically connected with the revolution modulating module, and generates a driving signal to drive the fan according to the control signal. A control device of a fan system includes a temperature sensing module, a comparing module and a driving module. The temperature sensing module senses an external temperature and generates a sensing signal according to the external temperature. The comparing module receives the sensing signal and outputs a comparing signal according to the sensing signal and a reference voltage signal. The driving module, which is electrically connected with the temperature sensing module and the comparing module, supplies a working voltage to the temperature sensing module and the comparing module, and outputs a rotating speed control signal according to the sensing signal or the comparing signal.

A current control device for a fan motor includes a current sampling module, a signal generating module, a current detecting module and a current controlling module. The current sampling module samples an operating current of the fan motor to generate a sampled current signal. The operating current is controlled according to a driving signal. The signal generating module generates a threshold current signal. The current detecting module receives the sampled current signal and the threshold current signal and generates a motor protecting signal according to the sampled current signal and the threshold current signal. The current controlling module receives the motor protecting signal and stops generating or decreases the driving signal according to the motor protecting signal.

Current control device and method

A method for controlling a driving circuit. A first switch unit comprises a first switch and a second switch and a second switch unit comprises a third switch and a fourth switch. The first and second switch units are alternately turned on, and each switch is coupled to a blocking element in parallel. The first and second switches of the first switch unit are turned on simultaneously, and the first switch is then turned off. The second switch is turned off when the third and fourth switches are simultaneously turned on.

Methods for controlling driving circuits

The invention provides a motor driving device including a converter receiving and converting a non-electrical power source, such as light, heat, mechanical or chemical energy, to a first electrical power, and a selector electrically connected between the converter and a motor, for receiving the first electrical power and a second electrical power from a power source, such as an electrical power generator, and outputting the first or second electrical power according to a rotation speed of the motor.

A control device of a fan system, which has at least one fan, receives a starting voltage. The control device includes a start controlling unit and a driving unit. The start controlling unit receives the starting voltage and outputs a start controlling signal according to the starting voltage. After a predetermined period, the start controlling unit stops sending the start controlling signal. The driving unit is electrically connected to the start controlling unit and the fan, respectively. The driving unit receives the start controlling signal for controlling the rotation speed of the fan.

Fan system and its control device and control method

A fan motor control device comprises a clock signal generator and a drive unit. The clock signal generator generates a low-frequency clock signal. A frequency of low-frequency clock signal is less than 23 KHz. The drive unit converts the low-frequency clock signal to a high-frequency drive signal and outputs the high-frequency drive signal to drive the fan motor. A frequency of the high-frequency drive signal is higher than 23 KHz.
