A link layer is formed on the substrate after the surface treatment, wherein a material of the link layer includes a metal material. A surface-treated ceramic powder includes a plurality of ceramic particles and a surface-treating material. Each of the ceramic particles is at least partially coated by the surface-treating material, wherein the ceramic particles have an average particle diameter ranging from 10 micrometer (&#x3bc;m) to 100 &#x3bc;m, and the surface-treating material is made of metal, metal oxide or the combination thereof.

A method of fabricating a graphite composite structure includes the following steps. An amorphous carbon layer having a short-range ordered structure region in a range from 50% to 100% is provided. At least one force is locally applied on a surface of the amorphous carbon layer to form at least one stressed region. An annealing process is performed on the amorphous carbon layer so as to form at least one long-range ordered graphite structure in the at least one stressed region. The at least one long-range ordered graphite structure includes a stack structure including a plurality of (002) planes. An angle between an extension direction of the (002) planes and the surface of the amorphous carbon layer is in a range from 45 degrees or more to 90 degrees or less.

Graphite composite structure, method of fabricating the same and composite electrode structure of the same

A grinding disk and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The grinding disk includes a graphite base and a silicon carbide film, the silicon carbide film covering the graphite base, and the silicon carbide film has a surface grain size of 5 &#x3bc;m to 80 &#x3bc;m. By a hot-wall chemical vapor deposition system, a highly dense silicon carbide film is formed on a surface of the graphite base. The grinding disk may replace a conventional metallographic grinding and polishing disk, and is improved in characteristics such as hydrophobicity and abrasion resistance.

A vacuum coating apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a cathode target, a plurality of anodes, a transiting device, a pulsed arc discharge device, and a pulsed laser device. The plurality of anodes is placed on the transiting device and successively passes though a working position by the transiting device. The pulsed arc discharge device is electrically connected to the cathode target and the anode at the operable position to form plasma in a vacuum chamber for film coating. The pulsed laser device is located outside of the vacuum chamber and provides a pulsed laser beam onto the surface of the cathode surface to serve as a plasma trigger. A coating method for the vacuum coating apparatus is also disclosed.
