A timing controller circuit is arranged to control at least a gate in panel (GIP) circuit in a display panel, and includes a data receiving circuit, a timing detection circuit, a control circuit, and a data transmitting circuit, wherein the data receiving circuit is arranged to receive an image data, the timing detection circuit is coupled to the data receiving circuit, and is arranged to detect an input timing of the image data, the control circuit is coupled to the timing detection circuit, and is arranged to determine a GIP timing of the GIP circuit according to the input timing of the image data, and generate a timing control output according to the GIP timing, and the data transmitting circuit is coupled to the control circuit, and is arranged to transmit the timing control output to the GIP circuit.

Timing controller circuit

A display system includes an image display device and a pair of shutter glasses. The image display device includes a display panel, a display communication circuit and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to control the display communication circuit to transmit a shutter glasses control signal, and configured to control the display panel to alternately display a normal image and a compensate image according to a timing control signal. The pair of shutter glasses includes a pair of shutters, a glasses communication circuit and a shutter control circuit. The glasses communication circuit is configured to receive the shutter glasses control signal. The shutter control circuit is configured to alternately open and close the pair of shutters according to the shutter glasses control signal.

Display system and method thereof

A display device includes a display panel, a gate driving circuit and a source driving circuit. The display panel includes multiple sub-pixels arranged in multiple rows and multiple columns. Three first sub-pixels of the sub-pixels have different colors and constitute one pixel. The first sub-pixels are disposed in the same column. The gate driving circuit is electrically connected to multiple gate lines. The number of the gate lines is less than the number of the rows. Each of the gate lines corresponds to at least two of the rows. Each of the gate lines is electrically connected to at least two of the sub-pixels in each of the columns. The source driving circuit is electrically connected to multiple data lines. The number of the data lines is greater than the number of the columns. Each of the columns corresponds to at least two of the data lines.

Display device

The display device includes a circuit and multiple pixels. Each pixel includes multiple sub-pixels, and each sub-pixel includes a pixel electrode and a portion of a common electrode. A frame period includes a first polarity period and a second polarity period. The circuit maintains a voltage of the common electrode unchanged during the frame period, and applies a first dot inversion mode in the first polarity period and applies a second dot inversion mode in the second polarity period to the pixel electrodes. If determining that the input image has a bright stripe and the dark stripe adjacent to the each other, the circuit increases an intensity of the sub-pixel in an edge of the dark stripe or the bright stripe, and/or decrease an intensity of the middle sub-pixel in the bright stripe.

Display device and image processing method

A resistive multi-touch device includes a touch panel, a matrix, a scanning circuit, a first multiplexer, a second multiplexer, and a touch controller. The matrix includes m pairs of first electrodes forming m columns and n pairs of second electrodes forming n rows. The scanning circuit detects which column of first electrodes is touched to generate a first selecting signal and which row of second electrodes is touched to generate a second selecting signal according to a predetermined scanning mode. The first multiplexer selects a first signal of the touched first electrode from signals transmitted on the first electrodes according to first selecting signal. The second multiplexer selects a second signal of the touched second electrode from signals transmitted on the second electrodes according to second selecting signal. The touch controller calculates coordinate value of touched point according to first signal and second signal.
