A thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate and a display panel are provided. The TFT array substrate includes multiple pixels arranged in an array. Each pixel includes first through third sub-pixels sequentially arranged along a first direction. The first through third sub-pixels are connected to a same scan line. The TFT array substrate further includes first through third data lines sequentially arranged along the first direction. The first through third data lines respectively are for driving the first through third sub-pixels. The first sub-pixel includes first and second areas, the second sub-pixel includes third and fourth areas, and the third sub-pixel includes fifth and sixth areas, arranged along a second direction. A voltage difference between a sub-pixel electrode in the sixth area and a common electrode is different from a voltage difference between a sub-pixel electrode in the fifth area and the common electrode.

Thin film transistor array substrate and display panel

The invention provides a thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate and a display panel. The TFT array substrate is disposed with multiple pixels arranged in an array. Each pixel includes first through third sub-pixels sequentially arranged along a first direction. The first through third sub-pixels are connected to a same scan line. The TFT array substrate further is disposed with first through third data lines sequentially arranged along the first direction. The first through third data lines respectively are for driving the first through third sub-pixels. The first sub-pixel includes first and second areas, the second sub-pixel includes third and fourth areas, and the third sub-pixel includes fifth and sixth areas, arranged along a second direction. A voltage difference between a sub-pixel electrode in the sixth area and a common electrode is different from a voltage difference between a sub-pixel electrode in the fifth area and the common electrode.

In the present disclosure, one TFT substrate and a liquid crystal panel are disclosed. The TFT substrate includes a plurality of pixel cells, and each of the pixel cells includes three sub-pixel cells. Within one pixel cell, at least one sub-pixel includes single pixel area. Each of the other pixel cells includes two isolated pixel areas, and brightness of the at least two isolated pixel areas being different. In view of the above, the performance of the liquid crystal panel is enhanced when the viewing angle is large. In addition, the transmission rate of the liquid crystal panel may be maintained to be higher, which saves the power consumption of the backlight module so as to save the energy.

TFT substrates and liquid crystal panels

The present invention proposes a TFT array substrate includes: a substrate; scan lines on the substrate; data lines intercrossing with the scan lines; a first insulating layer between the scan lines and the data lines; a second insulating layer on the first insulating layer and covering the data lines; a common electrode layer on the second insulating layer, comprising first holes located above the data lines. The first holes uncover the second insulating layer. The present invention decreases parasitic capacitance between the common electrode layer and data lines and between the common electrode layer and scan lines by decreasing overlaping sections between a common electrode layer and the data lines and between the common electrode layer and the scan lines. Therefore load of the data lines and the scan lines decreases, charge efficiency of the pixels increases, and display effect of an LCD panel is therefore improved.

Thin film transistor array substrate and method for manufacturing the same

A liquid crystal display (LCD) module is disclosed, which comprises: a thin film transistor (TFT) substrate and a color filter (CF) substrate disposed opposite to each other, and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the TFT substrate and the CF substrate. The TFT substrate comprises a plurality of wires including at least a first group of wires and a second group of wires, and the second group of wires comprises at least two wires. The CF substrate comprises first curing test units and second curing test units insulated from each other. The first curing test units are electrically connected with the first group of wires, and the second curing test units are electrically connected with all the wires of the second group of wires. A manufacturing method of an LCD module is further disclosed. The LCD module and the manufacturing method thereof of the present disclosure can avoid occurrence of arcing in the TFT substrate during the CVD process, thereby improving the product yield and reducing the manufacturing cost.

LCD module and manufacturing method thereof

The present invention provides a display panel and a wiring structure thereof. The wiring structure comprises a plurality of metal wires extending across a first wiring region, a second wiring region, and a third wiring region. The first wiring region adjoins the second wiring region. The second wiring region adjoins the third wiring region. A line width of an nth metal wire in the second wiring region is a, and a distance between the nth metal wire and an n+1th metal wire is b, where n&#x2267;1. When n is taken as different values, a/(a+b) is a constant value. According to the above method, the coverage ratio in the seal coating region by the metal wires is not changed to avoid the problem of uneven curing of the sealant. The performance stability of the display panel is thus not impacted.

Display panel and wiring structure thereof

An array substrate and a display panel are disclosed. The array substrate includes at least one data line, at least one scanning line, and a pixel cell defined by the data line and the scanning line. The pixel cell includes an ITO thin film and at least one metallic layer below the ITO thin film. The ITO thin film electrically connects to the metallic layer via a through hole. The ITO thin film includes a slit arranged between the ITO thin film and the through hole, and the slit is arranged to avoid the disclination lines so as to improve the display performance.

Liquid crystal display panel and manufacturing method thereof

A display panel and a liquid crystal device are disclosed. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate opposite to the first substrate, a sealant. The first substrate is arranged with a first alignment film. The second substrate is arranged with a second alignment film. The sealant surrounds the first substrate and the second substrate. A first wall is arranged on the first substrate, and the first wall is between an edge of the first alignment film and the sealant. A second wall is arranged on the second substrate, and the second wall is between an edge of the second alignment film and the plastic film. In this way, the distance between an active area and edges of the display panel is reduced so that the narrow bezel design may be implemented.

Display panel and liquid crystal device with the same

The present invention relates to a chip-on-film panel structure, which has a panel body and fan-out leads, first metal sheets, array leads and second metal leads thereon. The array leads are disposed at two sides of the fan-out leads, the second metal sheets are disposed at two sides of the first metal sheets, and the length of each of the second metal sheet is less than the length of each of the first metal sheet to form a lead-out area that the array leads are led out from the second metal sheets via the lead-out area. The chip-on-film panel structure having an arranged fan-out area for array leads can settle the problem of being difficult to narrow the frame of the panel because the array leads occupy available room for fan-out leads and force the fan-out area to expand longitudinally.

Chip-on-film panel structure

A liquid crystal display (LCD) module is disclosed, which comprises a thin film transistor (TFT) substrate and a color filter (CF) substrate disposed opposite to each other, and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the TFT substrate and the CF substrate. The TFT substrate comprises a plurality of transmission test units and a plurality of wires. The CF substrate comprises a plurality of curing test units insulated from each other, and each of the curing test units is electrically connected to one of the wires via one of the transmission test units. An LCD device and a manufacturing method of an LCD module are further disclosed. The LCD device, the LCD module and the manufacturing method thereof according to the present disclosure can avoid occurrence of arcing in the TFT substrate during the CVD process, thereby improving the product yield and reducing the manufacturing cost.
