A light receiving and emitting module includes a sub-mount platform, a photoelectrical conversion component, a lens and a base. The sub-mount platform is made of silicon-based material and has first and second contact surfaces. The photoelectrical conversion component is disposed on the first contact surface. The lens is disposed on the second contact surface. The sub-mount platform is disposed on one side of the base. The first contact surface and second contact surface have therebetween a height difference, such that the photoelectrical conversion component matches the center of the lens. Further provided is a light receiving and emitting device including the light receiving and emitting module, a printed circuit board and a plurality of conducting wires. The conducting wires are electrically connected to the photoelectrical conversion component and printed circuit board. The conducting wires are disposed on at least two sides of the light receiving and emitting module.

Generally disclosed herein is an optical cable assembly a casing that defines a storage space, the casing having a first through hole at a first end and a second through hole at the second end, a first arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) disposed in the storage space, a second AWG disposed in the storage space, a first optical cable comprising at least one transmission optical fiber connected to a first end of the first and second AWGs, a second optical cable comprising at least one transmission optical fiber connected to a second end of the first and second AWGs, wherein the first and second AWGs are disposed substantially parallel with each other and substantially parallel with a longitudinal axis of the casing such that each of the first and second AWGs have a first end proximate the first through hole and a second end proximate the second through hole.

An optical transceiver includes a housing and an optical transceiving module. The housing includes a main body and a heat conductive component. The heat conductive component is disposed on the main body, and a thermal conductivity of the heat conductive component is larger than a thermal conductivity of the main body. The optical transceiving module is disposed in an accommodation space of the main body of the housing.

A wired optical communication assembly includes an optical transmission connector and a cable assembly having a casing, at least one optical waveguide, a first cable and a second cable. The casing has a storage space, a first through hole and a second through hole located at two sides of the casing. The optical waveguide is disposed in the storage space and has a first end and a second end. One end of the first cable is connected to the optical transmission connector, and another end of the first cable penetrates through the first through hole of the casing and is connected to the first end. One end of the second cable penetrates through the second through hole of the casing and is connected to the second end, and another end of the second cable is configured to be coupled to another optical communication module.

An optical transceiver includes casing, fastening member and driving member. The fastening member is movably disposed in the casing to be either in fastened position or released position. The fastening member has a first inclined surface. The first inclined surface has a start end and a stop end. Distance between the start end and the supporting surface is larger than distance between the stop end and the supporting surface. The driving member is movable in the casing. When the driving member presses the first inclined surface from the start end to the stop end, the driving member facilitates the movement of the fastening member from the fastened position to the released position. When the fastening member is in the fastened position, the fastening member is fastened to the fastening portion. When the fastening member is in the released position, the fastening member is removed from the fastening portion.
