A method for integrating multiple web servers based on individual client authorization consists of setting up a client, a master web server, and at least one slave web server through a network such that after the said master web server receives commands inputted by the said client, an authentication routine relative to the said client is executed based on the said commands to determine the individual authorization level of the said client and web pages are collected from the said master server and slave web that the client is permitted to browse based on the said individual authorization level and, furthermore, web pages are respectively displayed via a specific screen model on the computer system of the said client.

Method for integrating multiple web servers based on individual client authorization

A server system and method is proposed for use with an automatic storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) to allow a user to perform AS/RS controls and access related inventory management data. The proposed AS/RS server system and method is characterized by the use of a point-to-point multiplex communication interface, such as a TCP/IP communication interface, instead of SQL server as in the case of the prior art, for performing data transmission between the control platform and the main server. The SQL server is only used for storing the history of user-issued commands and related AS/RS operating status data. Compared to the prior art, the proposed AS/RS server system and method allows the utilization of DCOM (Distributed Component Object Model) modules for control of the data exchange among the main server, the SQL server, and the control platform, so that it can be implemented without the use of QEODBC drivers, thereby eliminating the problems caused by the use of QEODBC driver in the prior art. In addition, the proposed AS/RS server system and method allows real-time synchronization in the data transmission between the control platform and the automatic storage and retrieval system, thereby making the AS/RS operation more efficient than the prior art.

Server system and method for automatic storage and retrieval system

A method and a system for downloading data from an auto-storage database are proposed, allowing a server to perform one-time data retrieval for transmitting data to terminal devices that request for data downloading. Upon receiving a connection request from a terminal device, the server stores an IP address of the terminal device into an IP address temporary storage area. Then, the server starts timing, and performs one-time data retrieval for retrieving data from a database if counted time reaches a preset time value pre-stored in the server. The retrieved data is transmitted by the server to the terminal device whose IP address is stored in the IP address temporary storage area, and then the terminal device requests for terminating the connection to the server for stopping data transmission. The foregoing method and system are advantageous of not to occupy too much network bandwidth even in operation of many terminal devices.

Method and system for downloading data from auto-storage database

A method for storing records in a database or reading the same therefrom includes the steps of editing data of a non-indexed field of a conventional database as a string of comment characters through a conversion table so as to store the same in a remark field of the database; and showing contents of data of the non-indexed field on a screen of the database by referring to the conversion table in reading the string of comment characters contained in the remark field of the database.

Method for storing records in database or reading the same therefrom

A network-based computer testing system performs a concurrent testing procedure on computer products for quality assurance before shipment. The testing system comprises a communication port expander, an administrator, a network system, a product database, and a file server, and is characterized in that it allows the computer products being tested to be linked to the network system by means of a standard communication interface rather than a dedicated network interface. All the required testing files and associated data files are stored in the file server, so that they can be automatically downloaded to each computer product being tested via the network system and under control by the administrator.
