A hinge assembly includes a guiding rail, at least one protruding block, a slidable element, and a rotatable element. The guiding rail includes a first side and a second side surface opposite to each other. The guiding rail further includes a first edge and a second edge in parallel to a longitudinal direction of the guiding rail. The protruding block is disposed on the first side surface. The width of the protruding block is smaller than that of the first side surface, and a gap exists between the protruding block and the first edge. The slidable element includes a sliding surface and a guiding surface opposite to each other. The first edge of the guiding rail inserts into a chute formed on the sliding surface to move the slidable element along the first edge. The rotatable element is pivoted to the slidable element to rotate on the slidable element.

Hinge assembly having linear movement and slide type electronic device

A switch mechanism includes a sliding track disposed inside a host module, and a sliding component. An end of the sliding component is pivotally connected to a display module and the other end of the sliding component is slidably installed inside the sliding track. The sliding component slides in a first direction relative to the sliding track while the display module pivots in a first rotary direction relative to the host module. The switch mechanism further includes an activation component for moving to a first position corresponding to a first switch component to activate a first switch component while the sliding component slides in the first direction.

An electronic device having a main body, an expanded element, a support element, and a latch device is disclosed. The main body has a first surface and a second surface, wherein the second surface has a first accommodating slot and a second accommodating slot. The expanded element detachably connects to the first accommodating slot and the expanded element has at least one expanded function. The support element is accommodated in the second accommodating slot and has a folded state and a support state. The latch device having a first latch element for engaging with the expanded element and a second latch element for engaging with the support element is movably connecting to the main body. When the latch device moves to a first position, the engagement with the expanded element is released. When the latch device moves to a second position, the engagement with the support element is released.

Portable electronic device

A fixing mechanism for fixing a privacy filter on a bezel is disclosed. The fixing mechanism includes a body, a first hook and a second hook. The body surrounds the bezel, and a guiding slot is formed on the body. The first hook is disposed on a side of the body, and the second hook is slidably disposed on the other side of the body. The second hook includes a buckling portion and a guiding portion. The buckling portion buckles the privacy filter with the first hook. An end of the guiding portion is connected to the buckling portion. The guiding portion is movably disposed inside the guiding slot, so as to adjust a distance between the buckling portion and the first hook.

Fixing mechanism and related panel module

A communication plug for connecting to a communication connector is disclosed, wherein the communication connector has an accommodating slot and the communication plug includes a main body and a fixing portion. The main body can be accommodated in the accommodating slot and the fixing portion is connected to the main body. The fixing portion includes a first part, a second part, and a third part, wherein the third part is connected to the first part and the second part. While the main body is accommodated in the communication connector, the third part is accommodated within the accommodating slot. Consequently, the communication plug is fixed within the communication connector.
