A wavelength conversion element including a substrate, a blocking wall structure layer, and a wavelength conversion layer is provided. The blocking wall structure layer is disposed on a surface of the substrate and defines multiple microgrooves. Reflectivity of the blocking wall structure layer is in a range of 1% to 99%. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed in the microgrooves and includes multiple wavelength conversion particles. A height of the blocking wall structure layer along a normal direction of the surface of the substrate is greater than a height of the wavelength conversion layer along the normal direction of the surface of the substrate. A backlight module adopting the wavelength conversion element is also provided.

Wavelength conversion element and backlight module

A backlight module includes a light-emitting element, a quantum dot film, an optical film and a light adjusting element. The light-emitting element is adapted to emit a blue light. The quantum dot film is adapted to converting a first portion and a second portion of the blue light into a red light and a green light, respectively. The optical film is disposed on the quantum dot film. The light adjusting element is disposed between the optical film and the quantum dot film. The light adjusting element has a first surface and a second surface respectively facing the quantum dot film and the optical film. The first surface has multiple first optical microstructures. The first optical microstructures include multiple cones protruding toward the quantum dot film. Moreover, a display apparatus including the backlight module is also provided.

Backlight module and display apparatus

A light source module and a display device are provided. The light source module includes a light source, a light guide plate, and an optical film set including multiple first optical microstructures having a first surface, multiple second optical microstructures having a second surface, and multiple third optical microstructures having a third surface. Each of the multiple first optical microstructures has a first vertex angle, each of the multiple second optical microstructures has a second vertex angle, and each of the multiple third optical microstructures has a third vertex angle. The third vertex angle is less than the first vertex angle, and the first vertex angle is less than or equal to the second vertex angle. By configuring the aforementioned optical microstructures, the light source module of the disclosure may greatly improve the collimation of light and has favorable luminance.
