A computer system and a processing method thereof of sound signal are provided. The computer system includes a platform path controller (PCH), a high-definition audio (HDA) codec, and a digital microphone. The HDA codec is coupled to the PCH. The digital microphone is coupled to the PCH and the HDA codec. The digital microphone is used to generate sound signal. The HDA codec processes the sound signal from the digital microphone. Accordingly, the audio recording with high quality could be provided.

Computer system and processing method thereof of sound signal

An audio parameter optimizing method and a computing apparatus related to audio parameters. In the method, sound features of multiple sound signals are obtained. A wide dynamic range compression (WDRC) parameter corresponding to each of the sound signals is determined. Multiple data sets including the sound features and the corresponding WDRC parameters of the sound signals are created. The data sets are used to train a neural network, so as to generate a parameter inference model. The parameter inference model is configured to determine the WDRC parameter of a to-be-evaluated signal. Accordingly, a proper parameter could be provided.

Audio parameter optimizing method and computing apparatus related to audio parameters

A signal gain control method for an electronic device including an alternating-current (AC) impedance detector and a direct-current (DC) impedance detector is provided. An electronic device may implement the method and may be coupled to an external device. The method includes: detecting an AC impedance of the external device by the AC impedance detector; detecting a DC impedance of the external device by the DC impedance detector; obtaining a gain adjustment value according to the AC impedance and the DC impedance; and adjusting a signal gain of an audio signal output to the external device according to the gain adjustment value.

Signal gain control method and electronic device

An electronic device and a method for dynamically adjusting the output of a headset are provided in the invention. The electronic device includes a first connection interface, a processor and a storage device. The first connection interface is coupled to a detection device, transmits a plurality of detection-source signals to the detection device, and receives a plurality of groups of headset output signals corresponding to the plurality of detection-source signals from the detection device. The processor is coupled to the first connection interface, obtains gain information according a plurality of groups of measured headset signals corresponding to the plurality of groups of headset output signals, and dynamically adjusts the output of a headset according to the gain information. The storage device is coupled to the processor and stores the gain information.

Electronic device and method for dynamically adjusting output of headset

A microphone module disposed in an electronic device for reducing echo noise. The microphone module includes a casing, a first diaphragm disposed in the casing, a second diaphragm disposed in the casing and a substrate disposed between the first diaphragm and the second diaphragm and joined to the casing to define a first space and a second space which are isolated and separated from each other. The first diaphragm is disposed in the first space, the second diaphragm is disposed in the second space, and the substrate is electrically connected with the first diaphragm and the second diaphragm.

Dual-diaphragm microphone module to reduce vibration noise

An electronic device, calibrator, and headset for calibrating the electronic device are provided. The headset includes an earphone, a microphone, a switch unit, and a jack, where the switch unit including a capacitor and a switch element is electrically connected between the earphone and the microphone. The switch element conducts or cuts off a first path according to a control signal of the electronic device, where the first path is a signal transmission path from the earphone, through the capacitor, and to the microphone. When the jack is inserted into a headset port of the electronic device and the switch element receives the control signal to conduct the first path, the earphone receives output signals transmitted from the electronic device, and the microphone transmits input signals back to the electronic device. The electronic device adjusts a signal to be output according to the output signals and the input signals.

Electronic device, calibrator, and headset for calibrating electronic device

An electronic device includes a microphone, a bias-supply device and a voice-recognition device. The bias-supply device is configured to provide a first bias voltage to serve as an operation voltage of the microphone, when the electronic device is operated in a power-saving mode, such that the microphone transforms a voice signal into a first output signal. The voice-recognition device is configured to receive the first output signal and output a control signal, when the first output signal has a predetermined signal, to enable the electronic device be operated in a normal operation mode and the bias-supply device to provide a second bias voltage that is higher than the first bias voltage to serve as the operation voltage of the microphone, such that the microphone transforms the voice signal into a second output signal and outputs the second signal to a core circuit.

Electronic device and control method

A detection circuit is disclosed, in which the first and second pins are arranged to connect to at least one signal transduction area of the plug, such that a voltage division circuit generates first and second division voltages accordingly. A processing unit determines the signal transduction area(s) connected by the first and second pins by the first and second division voltages. When detecting that the first and second pins separately connect the microphone area and the ground area of the plug, the processing unit controls a microphone switch to connect the first pin to the microphone output node and the second pin to the ground. When detecting that the first pin and the second pin separately connect the ground area and the microphone area, the processing unit controls the microphone switch to connect the first pin to the ground and the second pin to the microphone output node.

Detection circuit

In a device including a headset jack having an external microphone contact, and an external microphone signal path connected to the external microphone contact, a method including detecting whether a headset plug is plugged into the headset jack and, if the headset plug is detected, selecting an audio signal received from the external microphone signal path, recording the selected audio signal, to produce a recorded audio signal, and determining if an external microphone is connected to the external microphone contact based on the recorded audio signal.
