An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of probe pins assembled in the insulating housing, a magnetic block and a metal shell. The insulating housing has a base and a tongue extending frontward from a front of the base. The magnetic block has an inserting hole penetrating longitudinally therethrough and matched with the tongue of the insulating housing. The metal shell includes a first metal shell and a second metal shell. The first metal shell is assembled rearward through the tongue to enclose the base, and the magnetic block sheathes the tongue in the inserting hole. The second metal shell covers a front of the magnetic block and defines a positioning window for positioning a front end of the tongue therein. The second metal shell and the first metal shell are buckled and electrically connected with each other to clamp the magnetic block therebetween.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of probe pins assembled in the insulating housing, a magnetic block, a metal shell and a piece of mylar. The insulating housing has a base and a tongue extending frontward from a front of the base. The magnetic block is of a unitary block and has an inserting hole penetrating longitudinally therethrough and matching with the tongue. The metal shell is assembled rearward through the tongue to enclose the base, and the magnetic block sheathes the tongue in the inserting hole and abuts against the metal shell. A front end of the tongue further stretches beyond a front surface of the magnetic block. The mylar is sticked on the front surface of the magnetic block and defines a positioning window for positioning the front end of the tongue therein.

An electric connector includes an insulating housing having a base board, two side boards, a top board and a bottom board which define a receiving space thereamong. A terminal body protrudes rearward from a rear surface of the base board in the receiving space. A plurality of probe terminals is assembled in the insulating housing. A magnet unit includes a plurality of magnets stood together to show a shape matched with the receiving space of the insulating housing for being assembled in the receiving space. A metal shell is mounted to the insulating housing to enclose the insulating housing and the magnet unit. The metal shell further electrically resists against rear sides of the magnets to secure the magnet unit in the insulating housing.

Electric connector adapted for connecting with a mated connector by virtue of magnetic attraction

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing having a front wall, a top wall, a bottom wall and two side walls. A rear surface of the front wall extends rearward to form a tongue portion. A receiving space is formed among the front wall, the top wall, the bottom wall and the side walls, wherein the tongue portion is located in the receiving space. A plurality of probe pins is assembled in the insulating housing. A magnetic block has a shape matched with the receiving space and is assembled in the receiving space. A metal plate is placed behind the magnetic block by passing a rear end of the tongue portion therethrough. A metal shell encloses the insulating housing and further electrically resists against a rear side of the metal plate to secure the magnetic block and the metal plate in the insulating housing.

An electrical connector has an insulating housing. The insulating housing has a base. At least one positioning block is protruded from a front of the base and separates the base into several equal parts. A plurality of terminals is mounted into the insulating housing. A connecting element is fixed on the positioning block. A shielding shell wraps the insulating housing. The positioning block cooperates with the shielding shell to form receiving spaces for receiving plug connectors. So, the electrical connector is capable of receiving multiple plug connectors. Meanwhile, the electrical connector simplifies the soldering process while assembling multiple connectors, and also, improves the assembly accuracy.

A connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of terminals assembled in the insulating housing, and a shielding shell curved from a metal plate to show a substantially rectangular tubular shape with a receiving space therein. Two free ends of the metal plate are acted as a pair of jointing plates end-to-end jointed with each other. Two end edges of the jointing plates jointed together each have a portion bent downward beyond a level plane of the jointing plates and then extended overstride the joint of the jointing plates to form a reinforcing portion. The reinforcing portion of one jointing plate is superposed against a bottom face of the other jointing plate and further welded with the other jointing plate together to ensure the jointing plates firmly jointed with each other. The insulating housing with the terminals is inserted rearward in the receiving space of the shielding shell.

Connector

A terminal strip fixed to a plating machine has a main strip, a plurality of auxiliary strips extended from a side of the main strip, a plurality of terminals extended from a lateral side of the auxiliary strip. A free end of the terminal has an elastic arm extended opposite to the main strip, a free end of the elastic arm is extended beyond the auxiliary strip and forms a contacting portion. When the main strip is pulled for plating the contacting portions along a direction parallel with the main strip, it is feasible to try to avoid the other part of the elastic arm being plated, so as to save the gold and cut down the plating cost.

Terminal strip

A battery connector includes a housing having a bottom wall, two sides of the bottom wall extend upward to form two sidewalls, and the back end of the bottom wall extends upward to form a back wall. At least one partition wall is set between the two sidewalls and connects with the bottom wall and the back wall. A plurality of terminal recesses are defined in the housing and separated by the partition wall for receiving a plurality of electric terminals. Each electric terminal has a soldering portion extending forward to connect with a printed circuit board and a contacting portion protruding upward out of the housing for contacting a battery. Between the housing and the printed circuit board a stopping element is set. The stopping element can stop the contacting portion moving forward to contact the printed circuit board or lose resilience if improper installation of the battery occurs.

An electrical connector includes a shell, an insulating housing, a plurality of contacts and a pair of strengthening plates. The insulating housing is formed with a contact tongue plate. If the electrical connector is assembled, the contacts are inserted into the insulating housing. The strengthening plates are inserted in the contact tongue plate. The contact tongue plate with the contacts and the strengthening plates are received in the shell. The strengthening plates will improve the structure of the contact tongue plate of the electrical connector to resist an external force such as a pressing force of a mating connector. The strengthening plates can prevent the contact tongue plate of the electrical connector from deformation and damage.

Electrical connector and a fabricating method thereof

A pick-up cover adapted to be mounted to a connector which includes an L-shaped insulating body with a base body and a prop body perpendicularly extending upward, includes a pick-up board mounted on the connector, two clipping boards extending downward from two opposite ends of the pick-up board to clip the insulating body therebetween, and prop boards protruding downward from a front of a bottom surface of the pick-up board and abutting on the base body to strengthen the pick-up board. The pick-up board has a flat top surface for the convenience of the pick-up cover being picked up by a SMT machine. A bottom edge of the clipping board protrudes inward to form a locating barb buckled in an end outside of the base body. A locating portion protrudes at an inside of the clipping board and abuts against an end of a rear surface of the prop body.

Connector pick-up cover

A connector assembly includes a plug connector having a base body and at least one inserting portion extended from a front of the base body. The inserting portion has a substantially circular plug groove of which an inner wall has a portion formed with an anti-mismating portion of plane shape. The anti-mismating portion has a null terminal recess for receiving a null terminal. A socket connector coupled with the plug connector defines an insulating housing having at least one receiving groove at a front surface thereof and a substantially circular receiving portion surrounded by the receiving groove. The receiving portion has a portion formed with an anti-mismating face of plane shape, corresponding to the anti-mismating portion, with a null pin recess formed thereon. A null pin is received in the null pin recess for electrically connecting with the null terminal of the plug connector.

Connector assembly

An electrical connector adapted to be mounted to a PCB for electrically connecting with a butting component includes an insulating housing and a plurality of terminals received in the insulating housing. The insulating housing defines a soldering surface and a mating surface contiguous to the soldering surface. The mating surface has a receiving recess for receiving the butting component. The receiving recess has a bottom protruding outwards to form a receiving plate substantially perpendicular to the soldering surface, with a plurality of terminal grooves extending substantially perpendicular to the mating surface formed thereon. Each of the terminals has a contacting portion received in the terminal groove and a soldering portion substantially perpendicular to the contacting portion. The soldering portions are arranged in plural rows and extend outside the soldering surface for being soldered on the PCB.

An electrical connector includes a dielectric housing and a plurality of electrical terminals integrated with the dielectric housing. A top of the dielectric housing defines a plurality of locating slots. A bottom of each locating slot defines a manufacturing hole. Each electrical terminal has a plate-shaped fixing portion embedded in the dielectric housing. A connecting end extends from one end of the fixing portion and out of the dielectric housing. A bending portion is bent upward from the other end of the fixing portion, and a contact portion obliquely extends from a top end of the bending portion. The fixing portion defines a fixing hole therein with respect to the contact portion. The fixing hole is located corresponding to and communicating with the manufacturing hole. The contact portion is received in the locating slot and covers the manufacturing hole.

Electrical connector and method of manufacturing the same

An electrical connector includes a housing and a plurality of terminals disposed in the housing. The housing defines a plurality of passageways passing through a rear surface and a front surface thereof. An upper portion of a rear of the passageway extends sideward to form a fixing slot and a bottom thereof extends downward and then forward to form a receiving fillister. Each of the terminals has a base board received in the passageway. A top end of the base board is bent sideward to form a fixing portion buckled in the corresponding fixing slot. A rear of a bottom end of the base board extends downward and then is bent forward to form a holding portion held in the corresponding receiving fillister. A free end of the holding portion is bent downward and extends forward to form a soldering portion located under a bottom surface of the housing.

The present invention provides a socket connector adapted for a charger capable of charging a bluetooth earphone. The socket connector includes a plurality of terminals and a dielectric body. Each of the terminals has a soldering portion. All the soldering portions are connected with a terminal strip so that all the terminals are integrated. The dielectric body is integrally formed with the integrated terminals that are prearranged in a mold by injection molding. The soldering portions and the terminal strip extend out of the dielectric body so that the terminal strip can be removed after the terminals and the dielectric body are fixed together.
