An exemplary light source assembly includes a light guide plate, a printed circuit board and light emitting elements. Each of the light emitting elements includes a cuneiform base and a light emitting diode. The cuneiform base includes an inclined surface sloped relative to an outer surface of the printed circuit board. The corresponding light emitting diode is placed on the inclined surface of the cuneiform base such that the light emitting diode is angled on the printed circuit board. Thereby, light is obliquely emitted from the light emitting elements onto the light guide plate.

Light source assembly

An exemplary light source assembly includes a light guide plate, a printed circuit board facing the light guide plate, and at least two light emitting elements. The at least two light emitting elements are angled on the printed circuit board. Light emitted from the at least two light emitting elements is obliquely transmitted onto the light guide plate.

An exemplary flat panel display () includes a housing (and) with a pair of joint members (and), a display panel () accommodating in the housing, a base () with a supporting member (), and a pivot mechanism () connecting the supporting member and the joint members. The joint members are integrally formed with the housing, whereby the display panel is pivotable relative to the base. With this configuration, the integrated joint members provide the flat panel display with a simple structure, relatively easy assembly, and reduced cost.

An exemplary flat panel display () includes a display module (), a supporting member () for supporting the display module, and a base () detachably attaching to the supporting member. The supporting member includes a first hook () and a positioning groove (). The base includes an elastic member () and a first through slot (). When the first hook is latched in the first through slot and part of the elastic member is received in the positioning groove, the supporting member is detachably attached to the base.

A flat panel display includes a display body, a neck pivotally engaged to the display body, and a base supporting the neck. The neck includes an inner screw thread. The base includes a screw bolt threadingly coupled to the screw thread of the neck such that the neck is detachably coupled to the neck.

An exemplary flat panel display () includes: a display module (), two connecting pieces () fixed to a back side of the display module, a supporting member () having a first side plate () and a second side plate () having a screw hole () therein, a fixing member () connecting a first one of the connecting pieces and the first side plate of the supporting member such that the first connecting piece is pivotable relative to the first side plate, and a first bolt (). One end of the first bolt includes a screw thread () thereon. The first bolt extends through a second one of the connecting pieces and threadingly engages in the screw hole of the second side plate of the supporting member, such that the second connecting piece is connected to the second side plate and pivotable relative to the second side plate.

A flat display () includes a flat display panel () movably disposed on a supporting bracket (). The supporting bracket has an opening () on a top surface and a channel () crossing a bottom thereof. At least one cable () sequentially passes through the opening and into the channel of the supporting bracket, the cable configured for electrically and/or communicatingly connects the flat display and a host computer.

An exemplary flat panel display () includes a display panel (), a circuit board () and a metal shield (). The display panel includes a first back (). The metal shield is secured at the first back of the display panel, including a first housing () portion adjacent the first back of the display panel. The circuit board including a power unit (), a display unit () and a switch unit () integrated on the circuit board that is accommodated in the first housing portion. An area of the metal shield is smaller than that of the display panel. The flat panel display is convenient for assembly in a reduced weight and a lowered cost.

An exemplary display device () includes a display module (), a base (), and a pivot mechanism () for pivoting the display module to the base. The pivot mechanism includes a frame portion () fixed to the display module and a pivot axle () fixed to the base. The frame portion is pivoted on the pivot axle. Because the frame portion fixed with the display module is pivoted on the pivot axle fixed on the base, the display module can be rotated around the base. Moreover, the pivot mechanism is compactly disposed where the display module connects with the base. Therefore the overall configuration of the display device is compact.
